Chief James Pierson [ret] is the former Chief of Police for Henderson Texas with now 35 years in law enforcement, however retirement is not his srong suit! While he still wears a badge and gun for work as an investigator his passion is coaching and teaching.
While most people simply call him Chief, you can count yourself lucky to call him friend. He is not the one you call when you want someone to simply cosign on your bullshit. He's the one you call when you want honesty and true advice.
In this episode we talk about the importance of being a coach, about leadership, and about his training company he started in 2017 that is now adding on a security component in offering executive protection services.
Chief is one of those rare people who in this world whose honesty and integrity may not be what you want to hear, but more so what you need to hear!

Ed Calderon is a fascinating and unique man! He grew up in Tijuana Mexico where he eventually moved in to law enforcement. Later after working various undercover work, he moved in to High Threat Protection for a Governor in Mexico, and later being moved back into an operational role.
After being offered to owe his allegiance to other parties, he left law enforcement and Mexico quickly taking his family and immigrated to the US where he began offering training in the various skillsets and tradecraft he had gleaned in his work. He offers his coursework and has a Patreon where he offers incredible on line content!
Ed also has his own podcast, Manifesto Radio and he has spoken to some to incredible people!
This conversation is unlike any other with Ed that I have heard as I wanted to talk with him more about how he thinks, where that came from, and understand Ed better!
