On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a deep dive into a surprisingly active NFL Trade Deadline. The Chicago Bears' acquisition of wide receiver Chase Claypool was one of the better under-the-radar moves of day. The former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout definitely has his warts, but he also helps Chicago both in the short-term and the long-term as they look to build out the roster around quarterback Justin Fields. The biggest winner of the day, however, has to be the Miami Dolphins. The trade for pass rusher Bradley Chubb signals that the they're all-in on Tua Tagovailoa as their franchise guy moving forward, and that they should be viewed as a legitimate threat to the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC. If we include the Baltimore Ravens' trade for Roquan Smith, it's clear that both the Ravens and the Dolphins aren't about to concede the conference to Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. In the NFC, two of the biggest 'losers' have to be the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers as they both decided to sit back and let division rivals like the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles improve their rosters. Are we sure Dallas and Green Bay are all that serious about winning a Super Bowl? Finally, J-Mac closes the show by taking a verbal blowtorch to Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets in the wake of their decision to fire head coach Steve Nash. Brooklyn is an absolute dumpster fire right now, and so long as Kyrie is on the team, it's hard to imagine things getting any better.
