MJ puts a nickel in me about “Usually I don’t like women comics comment” and then I take over the conversation for three minutes. Sigh.

I’m in Austin, TX at and I’m talking to , who wrote a book I just read and it’s all awesome. I’m a super chatty. Lots of sales stories of my youth for no reason except me, obviously, wanting him to like me. But he’s gets in some good stories and that book is GREAT. Go read it. I hope you have as much fun as I obviously am. Enjoy.

I’m in Austin, TX with , friend of the show. He hooked me up the comic book store here in Austin and, no surprise; he is a HUGE comic book dork. He explains Bendis to me. And I want to hear it!! I could NOT be punchier in this episode. We're recording around a lady vacuuming in the bar and it's just like being there. Enjoy!

Andy’s Bendis recommendations:

I’m in Ann Arbor with Fritz Milhaupt, friend of the show. He asked if I’d like to meet his friends who (with him) play trains. They are part of the Operations Road Show project, an offshoot of They’ve been modeling the Wabash Railroad between Layfayette, Indiana and Peru, Indiana between Labor Day and Sept 25th, 1964. Yeah. They are train dorks AMONG train dorks. Yeah.

I’m agreeing like I know what he’s talking about. I’m learning as he talks.

Regionalism is discussed at LENGTH!

Dave Higgins is a foodie and I don’t let him get into it.

We Get Political

is a character actor that has been in so many great movies. From Return of the Living Dead to X2, and so much more, the guy works! But I was excited because he has what has to be the best Planet of the Apes props and memorabilia collection ever. My excitement as I tour his house causes some WIND issues. It’s worth it! He’s so charming. This is so great.
