The past few seasons of NBA basketball have been some of the strangest that I have ever seen. COVID-19 is running rampant through the NBA right now, and over 594 different NBA players have played in games this year, which is a new record. With all the weirdness around current rosters, it is hard to know which teams are legit and which teams are smoke and mirrors. In this episode, we take a look at some of the teams that have failed to reach their pre-season expectations, specifically the Celtics and Lakers. We also cover some success stories this year, and give our breakdowns on the top 3 teams in each conference and how we feel about their playoff chances. We have made it about halfway through the 2021-2022 NBA Season, and some very clear trends have emerged based on this season's regular-season awards. Today, we break down our picks for each regular-season award and cover some of the names we'd like to see on an all-defensive team if the season ended today. A lot of the #1 choices in our list today seem to be locks to win each award if they're able to stay healthy. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Indiana Pacers both seemed on-paper to be competitive teams to start this season. Minnesota is playing with a fully healthy roster for the first time in a long time, and Indiana had recently hired Rick Carlisle as Head Coach. Despite this, both teams have been mediocre to start this season, and neither team has an easy way out of their rut. The Denver Nuggets have been incredible in the minutes that Jokic plays, but they have been absolutely awful with him on the bench. Jokic has an argument early for another MVP award this year, but he'll need his team to step up to get him there. We also take a look at the Celtics, Lakers, and Bulls, and talk about each of their teams hopes for the season. Enjoy!

We're about 10 games into the season now for most teams, and the standings in the East and West right now are not what anyone expected. In This episode, we break down some trends we've noticed through these 10 games, and whether or not we think they will continue through the season. Teams with high hopes coming into this season, like the Celtics, Hawks, and Lakers, find themselves much lower in the standings than they would have hoped. Also, the Wizards have taken control of the 1 seed in the East recently, despite awful shooting from Bradley Beal. When his shot starts falling, could they stay a top seed?

After a busy couple of weeks, we are finally back together to make an episode for you guys about the Celtics. The Boston Celtics had the kind of loss yesterday that causes the entire NBA fanbase to talk about what is so wrong with the team. After starting the 4th quarter with a 14 point lead, the Celtics got outscored 39-11 and lost the game by 14 points. We both have a lot to say about what's wrong with this team, but the biggest bit of finger-pointing goes to Jayson Tatum. Tatum has been averaging 25ppg on 25 shots per game (!), and has refused to feed Jaylen Brown when he is hot. Every aspect of Celtics basketball needs to improve, and we cover a lot of ways they could get better. Also, the rookies have been really exciting to watch so far, and we cover our favorites so far. We end this episode with our surprises so far into the season. Teams like Orlando and Cleveland have shown a lot more promise than most people thought going into this season.
