“Once you become a mom you have no more time for yourself.” Let’s PLEASE officially be done with that outdated statement! Having kids does not stop your life or your goals. It may not be easy, but it is more than possible. And if one of your goals is to get back to school, then this is the perfect episode for you.
On todays episode I bring in a few mamas who are currently in the process of getting their graduate degree. Listen in as they talk to you about how they balance motherhood and school, and give you the encouragement you may have been needing.

For months, I listened to this voice and continued to ask for guidance on where @balancedworkingmama needed to go. I asked for this to become something that can help more mamas than I could ever imagine while also not taking away from my own family or my own wellness. The word "community" has continued to come up and now I can see very clearly where we are going. This is what I’ve been guided and led to do. Surprise Mamas! Coming January 2022, our community will come alive. Stay tuned to this episode to hear more about the makings of the community and what to expect!

This won’t be the first time you have heard us talking about keeping a village around you, and it sure won’t be the last! Friends are so important mamas, especially in motherhood. Having people to not only talk and confide in, but to relate and bounce off of when it comes to motherhood. You can't deny that you sometimes simply crave that type of connection with someone that maybe your family or partner just can’t give you. Today we are here with Emily Siegel, EdTech woman by day, mommy mentor by night. On this episode, Emily describes her encounters with finding friendships as a mother and what led her to want to help other mamas, as well as giving some insight on how YOU can connect and build relationships with other mamas as well.
