Now I know here at Balanced Working Mama we focus heavily on what's inside (our brain, our emotions, etc) but as many of you know, your physical health is just as important as your mental health! And that physical health does not stop with a pregnancy, instead it often times becomes even MORE important. Pre and post-natal fitness is crucial, and we have Coach Christina -creator of J2M fitness - here today to tell us all about how she successfully leads mamas through a positive and helpful fitness journey.
Make sure to follow Christinas personal account here @coach_mom_wife_life AND her J2M fitness account @j2mfitness

Today, in 2021, mothers still struggle to prioritize wellness in their motherhood - and majority of the time, it is not the mothers' fault. Society has made it excruciatingly hard to incorporate wellness into the lives of women, therefor it is important to also take into consideration how hard it was for our own mothers and grandmothers who were parenting during a time that was even more relentless towards women and motherhood. For them, it couldn’t always be about wellness. Most of the time it was about survival. In this episode, I take the time to quickly analyze motherhood in the past, and explain how we now have the opportunities to redefine what motherhood can look like in todays day and age - and it is time we take advantage of it.
