Recently we have had a lot of talks about content creation with multiple clients. Specifically we talked about video content.
Now the reason we chatted so much about it is twofold:
Firstly the most trivial aspect of spending a large chunk of our content related chats about videos, is that today you can not be a prosperous company without a media element. Not being able to share your point of view in an easily digestible, fun way means you will have a hard time in the race of “thought leadership”. To borrow a line from the Category Pirates:
“The creator or company that sets the agenda in the space creates the space and dominates the space.”
Secondly -which unsurprisingly heavily relates to my first point- because we practice what we preach, and we place a great emphasis on creating video content with each of our clients. However there’s an aspect to content creation that although is prevalent with almost any content, pops its head up way more frequently with videos: the unnecessary aim for perfection.
