  • 60 - Meet The Kvetch Klub

We all have areas in our life where we struggle.

And often we resort to a good old kvetch.

(Which sometimes is needed) but often is the default for lack of a better tool!

And then everyone starts firing their advice and opinions at us - Oy vey. That doesn't help either.

    Why is this?

What do we really need when we're struggling?

    I know what I need.

Tune into this week's episode to understand

    - Why we get sucked into the kvetch klub and what's the alternative

    - Where's the potential for change really found?

    - What helped us improve our erev Shabbos rush, and what's the underlying principle

    - The difference between kvetching and coaching

    - Why do we want to cry when everyone shoots their opinions and advice at us, and what would be more helpful

  • 59 - The gentle yet effective way to change your thoughts

I was fed up of our tiny apartment. Our noisy neighbors. The plumbing issues.

And I was full of negative thoughts about our situation.

    What should I have done?

    Were my thoughts valid?

Should I have tried to change them? Would that have helped me?

At that time, someone told me that my struggles with my apartment…were "just" thoughts.

It was supposed to be empowering and freeing.

But it didn't feel like that to me.

Something about that approach felt dismissive.

And now all these years later, I've built a coaching practice based on a very different approach

In this episode I'll share with you..

    • My personal journey from our old apartment to our spacious apartment
    • The approach I use when helping myself or coaching my clients through their struggles
    • What is missing when you tell yourself "it's just a thought"
    • The difference between goal-focused coaching and value-based compassion coaching
    • Why our feelings are actually our super-power
    • What is the feminine approach to coaching
    • What are 2 main ingredients to powerful change

  • 58 - Should I follow my gut-instinct?

We all want to make the "right choices" in our lives (especially the women I work with).

We suspect that if we follow our intuition we'll make better choices, which will lead us towards our goals.

But we're often hesitant to really let intuition guide us.

Should I listen to my gut? Is my gut instinct my intuition? Will I make the wrong decision? What is right for me?

Or, as one of my clients shared with me:

״What if following my intuition leads me to make poor choices?״

There's a lot of confusion around what intuition really is - and isn't.

It felt like time to clear up some myths about intuition and gut instinct, and really break it down, so we can all make more confident decisions that are right for us.

In the latest episode #58 we'll explore:

    • What are the essential differences between intuition and impulse
    • How far should we allow our gut-instinct to inform our decisions
    • Why do people make poor choices
    • Why you'll never make a mistake if you do listen to your intuition
    • How can we practically access our intuition

  • 57 - Breaking NEWS. Big changes.

I can't believe this is finally happening!

Behind the scenes here in "Rena Reiser Land", there have been a lot of changes.

The truth is, the changes have been bubbling under the surface for nearly three years...

But now it's really happening and we're gonna spill the beans.

In this episode, my husband makes a guest appearance, and interviews me about the new direction of my podcast and my whole business.

Listen to this episode and you'll discover,

    • What's the brand new podcast name, and why I chose it from my list of 50 potential names
    • What motivated all these changes and what's different about the work I'm doing
    • What was the surprising failure that made me realize it was time to rethink
    • What fear did I have to overcome, in order to make these changes?
    • What type of women will be interested in this new type of work
    • What was the moment that really pushed me to realize I needed to incorporate other methods?
    • Why it's not about intuitive eating anymore
    • What is the felt-sense and what happens when we tune into it?
    • The difference between "feminine" and "masculine" leadership and how that relates to the work I do

Listen in to this episode to hear more.

    • Curious what it feels like to tap into your "felt sense"?
    • Want a taste of some of the new work I'm doing?
    • Wish you had a way to calm down, or tune into your feelings, when you're triggered or feeling "blah"?

  • 56 - Stop forcing and start feeling

I got this question from one of our listeners.

I don't stop eating until I'm overfull. I know that I don't need more, but I find myself eating my kids' leftovers, and taking more food, and I recognize that there's some sort of emotion that's driving me to eat, but I don't know what the emotion is.

Sometimes it works for her to talk to herself, and tell herself:

    "I'm not hungry; I don't need this."

    But often it doesn't.

I think that many, many women have a tendency to over intellectualize things.

We know that there's a different way, a different perspective, a different thought that we could be thinking about the situation we're in. Like, "I don't need this." I know that intellectually I don't need this.

But I think that the problem is that we try so hard to force our thoughts, we try to change them so quickly, and what that does for us is it actually disconnects us more from our feminine intuition when we try to force that changing of the thought.

Tune in to find a better, more gentle, more compassionate, more effective way.
