It's going to be a quick one this week on the Epoch. It's our 6th month anniversary and we have low energy and plenty of audio issues. LE open's things with a correction from a previous episode. In the news we talk about the non-action of Baker's COVID response, the Bankers association lobbying the CDC to move Wall Street traders and bank tellers up the line for the vaccine, and the still terrible stimulus package. We move into a brief discussion of movie news with Warner Bros' decision to release movies simultaneously to HBO Max and theaters. After LE tells us about primal COVID robbery, we move into a freeform discussion of American colonial empire, woke capitalism, the rich, climate refugees, and political ideology, closing things out by showing our support and solidarity with the striking Farmers in India. It keeps getting stranger on your Epoch, please enjoy it with us.

Welcome to the weirdest episode of the Epoch yet! Content Warning, we really let our hair down this episode. We discussion Neera Tanden's nomination as Biden's director of the Office of Management and Budget, who will be the first to receive COVID vaccine, and the new possibility of World War 3 - this time with Iran. Jesse mentions the work of Rosa Luxemburg, which you can listen to on this podcast feed. We then move into a pop culture discussion, we recognize Elliot Page, and discuss the parallels between the Star Wars prequels, Game of Thrones, and America politics. LE's offers a bird segment like none other. And lastly, we say once again, Support Sex Workers.

Happy Thanksgiving, or, National Day of Mourning; if you're enjoying Turkey or protesting colonialism, you can spend some time with your Epoch. This week of silliness we are joined by cheeseboy (@symmetry_hater) as we discuss the horrible picks for Biden's cabinet, the vaccine roll out, the quality of Amazon's delivery, and Dianne Feinstein setting down from the Senate Judiciary Committee. Jesse focuses on some comrades who might have drank too much of their own Kool-Aid, maybe goes a bit too tankie. LE tells us about projectile child and how to make a quick buck watching Christmas movies. Throughout the episode, Joe tries his hand as comedy, and it doesn't go great. We love him, folks.
Comrade Jesse reads a bittersweet essay from Uncle Ho, published in Pravda in 1924.
