Did you ever have a passion for something that is completely outside of the career path you studied in college for?

Jason Nelson did. He studied marketing for 4 years in Rutgers Business School and got a great job with Barnes & Nobles College (BNC) making a nice salary of $50,000 straight out of school. The thing is, the passion Jason had for entertaining people and playing the saxophone and piano outweighed the one he had for the marketing department of BNC. Enter The Essential Jason Nelson, LLC and the journey it all entailed as he quit his job (mid pandemic) when the entertainment industry was at a stand-still and made it all work out. Pursuing his passion allowed him to make more than 2.5X what he did in the corporate world and do what he loves. Jason was featured on the Jersey Shore, Real House Wives of NJ and more to come.
