After studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford, Azeem has pursued a career spanning journalism, venture investing, machine learning, natural language processing, entrepreneurship and advisory. In addition to his work on the Exponential View, Azeem is an advisor to the CTO of Accenture as well as a number of AI companies, including Onfido and re:infer, both of which we've had on the podcast. He's also a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Digital Economy & Society and an investor and advisor through Anthemis and Kindred Capital. In 2009, Azeem founded PeerIndex which processed social data using machine learning to identify novel, actionable signals. The company was acquired by BrandWatch in 2014.
