Biggie (aka Emiguel Arroyo) had accepted his fate living at over 600 pounds, until a medical emergency led him to hear a doctor tell his father not to expect him to live to see 40. He was 36 years old and facing the reality of his health condition, finally. What follows is far from a clean clear path and we get into it all. Biggie's story shines a light on how intimately linked our mental health and physical health truly are, and he pulls no punches. In the end, he made a promise to his father he would survive that grew over time into a promise to himself. He's now down 300 pounds and a true warrior in the fight for his life. Pedro Guerrero turned to food as an escape from many things in life. It was his way to manage his emotions, and brought him to two major health scares at over 480 pounds. He knew he needed to make change and it would take releasing his longterm coping mechanisms and healing his relationship with himself, food and even the gym. In doing so he discovered the real power in discipline and loving himself. Josh Gault struggled with his weight as a kid and at 15 he was a massive car accident that paralyzed him from the chest down. After the accident his weight continued to rise until he was 350 pounds and physically not able to do anything for himself. It would have been easy for him to give up then, and just accept his life, but Josh saw the possibility in himself and decided to control the things he could, instead of focusing on what he could not.
