Chris Dyer is the greatest deer hunter you've never heard of. Go ahead argue with me. I'll send you picture after picture, and story after story to prove my claim. The man lives and breathes whitetails. During the hunting season you can count on Chris to tag multiple bucks, and during shed season he will have the biggest shed pile because of quantity and quality of sheds he scoops up. Think of the most brutal grizzly mauling you've heard of someone surviving. Now imagine that situation being even worse. Jeremy Evans is the toughest man on the planet. Period. As you will hear in this interview ten miles into the backcountry Jeremy FOUGHT OFF a sow grizzly when he accidentally came in between her and her cub. He fought her off 3 times without bear spray, a gun, or a knife and miraculously survived his horrific injuries. It's quite simply the most brutal bear attack I have ever heard of where the victim survived. Besides the bear attack, Jeremy is an expert hunter and we discuss his many successes hunting whitetails, mule deer, elk, moose, buffalo and more.

Is shed hunting worthless? There are plenty of Uncle Rico type bow hunters who will tell you it is. They will talk about the 180s and 2Hundies they almost shot, and how they were in totally different locations than where their sheds were found by a farmer two miles away. But are testimonies such as these to be trusted? Should all hunters accept them at face value, and conclude for themselves that shed hunting has no value? Broad head lodged deep in your thigh 10 miles into the back country = dude, you're screwed.
