Grow Your Fitness Business for Instructors, Trainers and Coaches group is my Facebook group for coaches building direct-to-consumer businesses. At this point it has well over 8400 members. And, I asked every single one of them the same question when they joined:What is your biggest struggle in your business?
Overwhelmingly, they say their biggest struggle is in bringing in new clients.
Now that's not surprising, because that's the struggle of an entrepreneur. But there's a little caveat here because we are fitness and wellness coaches, which means we are passion-based entrepreneurs. We are running passion-based businesses that serve consumers directly.
So the way we find and sell to our perfect future buyers has to feel very authentic, honest and service-based to us or else we are just not going to do it.
Today, I’m going to talk about some tactics we tend to default to, and why this is the wrong first move. Plus, I will outline the only five ways you will ever bring in a new client, and tell you how and when to leverage each so you can bring in your perfect future buyers.
