In 1976, a young mother was abducted, raped, and tortured by a faceless attacker in Park Hills, KY. For the next 40 years, the survivor was haunted by the attack, until two detectives gave her case new life while investigating a cold case murder. Though the cases weren't ultimately related, they were both solved thanks to faith in God, law enforcement, and a determination to find answers.

Detective Coy Cox of the Boone County Sheriff's Office leads Kentucky's only full-time cold case investigative unit. He details his investigative work on the cases and explains how he was able to bring answers to two families, four decades later.

For any tips or information about a case, contact Detective Cox at (859) 334-4807.

On Tuesday, jury selection began in the second trial of Karen Read, the 45-year-old woman accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, in an alleged hit-and-run in January of 2022. Read's case was first tried in April of 2024, but ultimately ended in a mistrial due to a "starkly divided" hung jury. Now, one year later, choosing jury members a second time around may be more challenging due to the case's high profile.

Retired NYPD Inspector, Attorney, and FOX News Contributor Paul Mauro explains how Read's second murder trial could differ from the first, especially following evidence reexaminations and the prosecution bringing on a new, more experienced prosecutor.

On Tuesday, Karen Read appeared back in court for the last time before her second murder trial begins next week. Read is accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe, by running him over with her SUV after a night of drinking. Read's defense claims she's being framed as part of a larger cover-up, and was just denied a motion to dismiss the case against her.

Award-winning Trial Attorney and Host of the Courtroom Confidential Podcast Joshua Ritter recaps the latest events out of court this week, and previews what listeners can expect as the divisive trial begins.
