General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, rhetorically crushed Matt Gaetz like a bug after the latter tried to say the critical race theory education was somehow harmful to the military. We laugh at the internet destroying Gaetz.

Not every rally can be successful, & Trump is not immune to this. We cover the hilarity of an awful rally in which Trump fumbles more than ever before. & he eventually lost much of the crowd.

Due to his role in “The Big Lie”, Rudy Giuliani has been suspended from practicing law. Plus, Marjorie Greene gave a speech mislabeling contraceptive pills as murder. Other topics include Miami drivers, Derek Chauvin’s sentencing, our fictional F&F ripoff, & the DOJ lawsuit against the Georgia’s voting law.

This week, Joseph Manchin has been exposed! Audio has come out, with Manchin urging donor group No Labels to incentivize fellow Senator Roy Blunt to change a vote so as to help uphold the filibuster. But his preferred voting rights bill, & the GOP’s unequivocal opposition to it, may have exposed the Republicans’ hypocrisy.

Ron Johnson loves showing off his bigotry! He’s against DC statehood, insisting it to be a power grab desired by elite Washingtonians. Mayor Muriel Bowser & most of DC’s population would disagree.

Senator Kirsten Sinema’s fanatical love for the filibuster continues to get her heat. Not to mention skipping a big vote, & being obtuse about bipartisanship with an opposition whose literal agenda is “obstruct.” But she’s got an unlikely defender in The View’s Meghan McCain.

Other topics include the Trump investigation, a Karen defacing an LGBTQIA Pride mural, Mike Pence being booed, & Steven Crowder vs Sam Seder.

COVID ain’t done. The Delta variant is now considered a “variant of concern” by the CDC. This variant is anticipated to become the dominant strain in America. But Ron DeSantis thinks it’s nothing but a bunch of propaganda. He wants you to focus on him & what he wants to pass, like banning the teaching of America’s systemic racism.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar came under criticism for a tweet that was mischaracterized as comparing America & Israel to Hamas & the Taliban. She’s hearing it from both sides, with 12 House Democrats making a public statement rebuking her tweet rather than picking up a phone. So much for party unity.

Meidas Touch produced an ad condemning the Republican Party & Trump supporters for the January 6th Insurrection, with accounts from Capitol Police officers. Despite paying 6 digits to have it air over 9 days on Fox News, the right-wing network refused to air it. & Senate GOP filibustered the Paycheck Fairness Act, with not a single Republican woman senator voting in favor of this bill.

Other topics include comparing Congress election results, backlash at Kirsten Gillibrand & the sexism surrounding it, Tucker Carlson’s Gilead fantasy, & Congresswoman Jackie Walorski feeling extended unemployment benefits were unfair to CEOs.

Joe Manchin thinks he’s POTUS! The Senator from West Virginia is feeling like the big man on campus, maintaining his so-called “bipartisan” stance, even as he goes against his own constituents on both sides. Find out who’s really pulling the strings!

In Florida news, the Pride-themed light display on Jacksonville’s Acosta Bridge has seen a bit of controversy in the continued GOP attack on the LGBTQIA community. Also, a South Florida high school yearbook was somehow too “woke” from some parents.

VP Kamala Harris paid a visit to Guatemala, where she gave a speech discouraging asylum seekers from coming to America. & Rudy Giuliani is doing MyPillow commercials! Most likely to draw attention away from his conversations with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

Now, this might sound like nothing new, as Republican governors have been at this all year, but Ron’s doing it his way. We go on to discuss the hope we may have of escaping his clutches. But Greg Abbott is just narrowly behind & eager, ready to sign a big voter suppression bill, but the Texas House Democrats won’t take it lying down.

The “America First” Tour continues! Gaetz & Greene are a heap of bigotry, with the Greene delivering a hateful speech about Mexican cartels (with a bonus). Gaetz won’t be topped, though, & proceeds to ironically cry cancel culture to a packed audience while appearing to encourage violence. Also, Michael Flynn’s QAnon fans are getting him in hot water.

Marjorie Greene seems to want all the smoke! She’s out here demanding debates with AOC & comparing mask-mandates to the holocaust. The latter got her lots of backlash even from GOP leadership. Plus, Liz Cheney shows us that she is no better than the Trumpists she condemns in an interview with AXIOS; & Ron Johnson wants to end federal unemployment benefits & thinks he can richsplain the economy to us.

Other topics include right-wing attempts to curb education on slavery, a look at Generations Y & Z, comparing the populations of parts of America, cooking infomercials, & a correction regarding Ron Johnson & Jim Jordan.

There’s a new “Central Park Karen!” Tiktoker Alana Lambert & her friend were in Central Park when they dropped a charger & had to deal with a self-proclaimed racist to get it back.

A leaked video shows Heritage Action for America leader Jessica Anderson speaking to wealthy donors about the influence they’ve had with practically shoving pre-written restrictive voting legislation onto the desks of Republican governors. It almost looks like a competition of which state can restrict voting the most. Plus, a tangent about cases of voter fraud that were committed by Trump voters as a result of his own rhetoric.

The GOP is suffering from some revisionist syndrome! They’re trying to spin the tale that what happened on January 6th was not an insurrection, but just another protest, or a normal day, any lie they can exploit to turn this coup attempt into a new Lost Cause narrative.

You won’t believe who’s headlining…

On this episode, we talk about more Republican disarray. The GOP House Caucus has removed Liz Cheney from leadership, allegedly not due to her opposition to Trump, but due to her remaining outspoken that the 2020 election was not stolen, something that displeases the new Republican overlord. We go into the pathetic manner in which the party has turned on Cheney while themselves preaching “party unity,” most likely not seeing the irony.

We also have the very out-of-touch Caitlyn Jenner trying to run for California Governor in the midst of the effort to recall Gavin Newsom. There’s also the new “America First” tour & its stop in the Villages, Florida, starring Matt Gaetz & Marjorie Greene.

We close out by looking into why it is that British shows tend to have such short seasons (or series). Other topics include a correction regarding Elbridge Gerry, which past president would agree with Trump, & the ever-evolving cast of ABC’s long-running hit Grey’s Anatomy.

We also ponder what life must be like for people who live in the “extensions” of prorupted states such as Croatia, Tajikistan, & Namibia.

The GOP stays at it! The Republican-controlled Missouri State Legislature has go against the will of Missouri’s voters and shut down attempts to pay for the Medicaid expansion, & you’ve gotta hear how they justify themselves! Plus, Florida & DeSantis just have to be the center of attention, with a new voting bill that mirrors much of Georgia’s, rife with ways to suppress.

We also talk more about DC statehood, & the hypocritical counter-effort by Republicans to continue taxation without representation, with a fun history lesson! Other topics include the origin of the word “gerrymandering”, a boy band made of US Presidents, & Cheney vs Trump.

Sorry not sorry! We HAD to go in about the finale of “The Falcon & the Winter Soldier!” Heavy spoilers ahead! What a riveting time but tread carefully if you’re still watching. Plus a dip into Handmaid’s Tale season 4. Also, we uphold a VERY unpopular opinion regarding Batman movies.

Florida is really trying to be the center of attention with governor Ron DeSantis signing his “anti-riot” bill into law. This law essentially condemns peaceful protests, greatly broadening how the state sees “riots,” among other GOP talking posts come to life. There’s another bill trying to encourage reporting lecturers who allegedly stifle “viewpoint diversity.” Just more coded language. But we go into how limited American history education is in secondary school. Other topics include Rick Santorum’s false history lesson, Giuliani in Ukraine, & Miami’s Centner Academy’s opposition to the COVID vaccine.

It’s our FINAL “Amendment Time” & we’re hitting the 27th amendment. This amendment keeps any congressional salary changes from taking effect until the next congressional election. It’s got an interesting history too. Plus a recap of all 27 amendments.
