Yes, I know there are plenty of songs about the benefits of a pantsless existence (one of which I participated in and even reference here) but this new song by P!nk was too good to not give the parody treatment to, despite some -- myself included -- feeling this may be more in the "dumb parody ideas" realm. One day I was having a good, long, think about Vanilla Ice's indelible Ninja Rap from the TMNT 2: The Secret of the Ooze soundtrack and I thought just a little too hard about a musical question posed early on. I showed my lyrics to Luke and he requested that he be involved. Two years later, I remembered to record it!

Remember that time Machine Gun Kelly was so embarrassed about the gross things he said about Eminem's teenage daughter that he had to jump start a pop punk revival just so that he would have other creepy, groomer musicians to hang out with? Regdar and the Fighters remembers. So we revived a song we wrote during the first wave of pop punk about getting kinda fat after going off to college. After once again getting kinda fat during the Covid-19 pandemic, we knew it was time to revive and revise this song. Now it has all the hallmarks of a modern Travis Barker production: fake studio banter! aggressive, aggressive auto-tuning! Midwest-emo-but-not-as-good-guitar lines! condescending lyrics about vaguely-remembered teenage years!

Any traveling entertainer (musician, magician, mathematician, politician, snake oil purveyor, etc.) eventually learns of (and can attest to) one universal truth. That is: as lonely as the road can be, there's always someone willing to make sure you're not alone. It might cost you, one way or another, though.

A lot of the songs that I have written were intended for a barroom audience on their third or maybe fourth round of drinks and this one is a prime example. The minute I came up with the title of this song the rest fell quickly into place. A lot of men out there (and women) will probably support the song's contention that some sex is purely recreational and should not be considered as an act of unfaithfulness. In any regards, I think it makes for a hilarious song and I am hoping to get it recorded someday by an artist who can really give it the performance it deserves.

Luke Ski returns to the FuMP to do the scariest thing he can think of... express his point of view on a specific aspect of a current societal paradigm via the art of the comedy song. Will he survive?
