Did you ever have such a passion for your industry but felt that the technology servicing this industry needs an upgrade to the 21st century? Roman did!
Roman wanted the intellectual challenge of law school and obtained his JD degree and began his journey in the professional world. He started working at a law firm and fell into the world of immigration law by accident. Recognizing the shortcomings in the technology that serviced the industry, he decided to take matters into his own hands to fix the issues. Not knowing how to get started, he decided to see how things worked from the inside by joining a FinTech company. With $30,000 in the bank and a general concept of what he had to do, he left the comfortable W-2 job and took the leap. The savings dried up quickly and Roman had to make some moves. Check out his incredible story of resilience and unwavering commitment to his passion.
Roman is extremely down to earth and super active on LinkedIn. Check him out: https://www.linkedin.com/in/romanzelichenko-electronic-lca-posting-public-access-file/
Did you ever have a passion for something that is completely outside of the career path you studied in college for?
Jason Nelson did. He studied marketing for 4 years in Rutgers Business School and got a great job with Barnes & Nobles College (BNC) making a nice salary of $50,000 straight out of school. The thing is, the passion Jason had for entertaining people and playing the saxophone and piano outweighed the one he had for the marketing department of BNC. Enter The Essential Jason Nelson, LLC and the journey it all entailed as he quit his job (mid pandemic) when the entertainment industry was at a stand-still and made it all work out. Pursuing his passion allowed him to make more than 2.5X what he did in the corporate world and do what he loves. Jason was featured on the Jersey Shore, Real House Wives of NJ and more to come.
Tune in to the journey and follow him on social media @essentialjasonnelson and see the life of one of the most energetic performers in the game.
