A pioneer and an icon in diabetes research, Camillo Ricordi, M.D., is the Professor of Surgery, Director of Cell Transplant Center and Director Emeritus of the Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Florida (UM-DRI).
