This week we spoke with Nora Rachel, a Mitigation Investigator who works to save the lives of those on death row. By mounting a mitigation defense for Voldemort, we discussed the impacts of trauma on childhood development, the importance of intervention, the power of neuroplasticity, and how transformative justice models can interrupt the cycles of abuse and trauma that lead to violence .
