The Geek Down

Special uninvited guests (someone left the gate open) from the The Old Man Wade Show -- Javier Lindor & Oldman Wade Sho himself! At 8pm EST we talk the ultimate in super-soldiers, with charisma, quips, and crassness to spare -- Terry Crews starring as YOU starring as Commander Jaxon in CRACKDOWN 3! Then, it's time to get serious. And by serious I mean take periodic brakes to go rave-hopping with HANNA on Amazon Video. Now that you got that out of your system, we can literally tap into your inner-child. When he's not in class, he's risking his ass -- Billy Batson is SHAZAM!

In the house: Pat B, Shayna Wakefield, with guests Oldman Wade & Supawoke Javi

In this special WRESTLEMANIA PREVIEW episode, we welcome our guest, fellow Wrestlemania attendee Elissa Spinner to the show to preview Elissa Spinner. The star of The Raid Redemption, the star of Ong Bak, the star of Black Dynamite, Man of Tai Chi, Boyka: Undisputed, and a bunch of other films when they make a martial arts Expendables-style train wreck -- TRIPLE THREAT! Then, now that you're in a laughing mood, we bring you Ricky Gervais... in the most depressing "sitcom" since "The Road." It's Netflix's AFTER LIFE. On top of that we take an in-depth look at one of the greatest comedians ever in "I AM RICHARD PRYOR.

In the house: Pat B, Adam Willis, Shayna Wakefield

We talk the highlights of Evolve 123, our favorite matches of the week, and give some love to some wrestlers who aren't on WWE TV right now.

It's some down home mind-bending (just like mother used to make). Somewhere the band LIT is spinning in their graves as we see you really are your own worst enemy in Jordan Peele's horror thriller US. And the robots are only our friends until they outlive us all -- which may happen sooner than you think: LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS on Netflix. Along with that, DC doesn't beat dead horses when you can fellate them in a Lazarus pit, DOOM PATROL premiers exclusively on DC Universe.

It's a good old-fashioned moral/ethical/familial/obligatory dilemma when Hiccup and Toothless hit a crossroads in HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD. And speaking of old-fashioned, in THE FAVOURITE Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz show us how a class war, a war of the roses, and even The War of the Spanish Succession can be decided with sad handjobs. And speaking of sad handjobs (--no, no one was speaking of that), the family fisticuffs are taken to metahumanly petty heights in THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY.

Marvel's CAPTAIN MARVEL is the long awaited continuance of the Infinity saga, with Academy Award winner Brie Larson punching us all in the dick! (metaphorically, it's still PG-13). Also we get to see what the hell made Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg so damn special in the first place!

Netflix's THE ORDER is absurdist and schizophrenic, humorous and horrifying (...what am I forgetting... Oh yeah) and kinda garbage! We've got the how's, the why's, and the blech's.

We're getting down with plunderers, pillagers, buccaneers, whalers, smugglers, pearl divers, treasure hunters, mutineers -- and that's just Black Adam Willis' list of weekend hobbies! All kidding aside, EC Comics commemorates it's history of badass swashbuckling tales by releasing the whole collection, THE EC ARCHIVES: PIRACY!

Some damn fool messed up our audio half-way through! AUGH!!! Still we power through with "Black Panther" getting Oscars and the advent of films like "Get Out," we're targeting another oppressive realm: horror. Specifically horror that gives POCs the shaft! Shudder's HORROR NOIRE breaks it down and we'll sift through the brass tacks.

Of course we're not the first to speak out. THE TWO KILLINGS OF SAM COOKE gives a deep insight into the dangers of doing so, and why you should still stand against.

And then another underdog fights for her right to respect, recognition, and ...well, to FIGHT! Dwayne Johnson and Stephen Merchant present FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY!

In the house: Shayna Wakefield & Pat B

Exploring the the uncanniest of valley's brought to life -- ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL.

And then just when you thought it was safe to be born, some nerd goes and breaks a quantum barrier. Learn why we can't have nice things when we talk HAPPY DEATH DAY 2U.

And then, coming all the way from parts unknown and other wrestling cliche's that proceed an ass-beating -- WWE's ELIMINATION CHAMBER!
