When there is something that we desperately want to have in our life, in other words, we want to manifest something in our life, when we’re too attached to the outcome – the opposite shows up. Take for example we want to manifest more money in our life – if we’re too attached, our lived experience can actually be that we’re manifesting more expenses. All of a sudden an expense that we hadn’t expected appears and we have to pay for it. So instead of manifesting more money, we’ve actually manifested more expenses. In this episode of #TheExecutiveCode I explain what is actually happening when we’re too attached to something and how to let go of the attachment.

Over recent years, people have begun to discover the importance of values. But their understanding of values is unclear and in a lot of cases are misrepresented by many people. I see a lot of discussions online about an individual’s set of values, a company’s set of values, what an organisation stands for in terms of their values, and getting staff aligned to the values of the company, and how we should live by a set of values. And while a lot of it is right – there is a significant amount of it that is wrong. And as a result, many individuals, businesses, and organisations are not achieving what they really could achieve if they fully understood the real understanding and significance of values. They could be simple things that they do….but they do them often….and it then starts to bug you or grate on your nerves. Whether it be an event, someone or something that triggers us – we will play out a program of behaviour – which then delivers our results.
