Hey y'all! Happy Athletics LLC day! Sheesh, coming off a great episode we get started with the CFP and how it all ultimately played out. There's ALL kinds of words for the CFP, do you agree with any of them? Then after those shenanigans, Millrose games...in bright, shining lights... the Men's 60m. We KNOW who the media is talking about but who are they NOT talking about?! Lastly, Sir Lucious, Lamar, Clyde, and The Governor discuss which event they think is the most difficult to develop. They make some pretty good arguments, who do you agree/disagree with? Sir Lucious steps in for RAPID FIRE and another great round of HEARTBEAT PROPS gets delivered. SOOO sit back and see you in a few clicks!

Today's guest has a strong Michigan background that has propelled her to the top of her coaching field winning over 20 conference titles in all three sports. Sue started as a high school coach in the Ann Arbor area but quickly rose to the collegiate ranks on the back of mentors such as her dad Bob Parks and legendary Univ of Michigan coach James Henry. After a very successful head coaching stint at Ball State University, Sue was able to take over as the head coach and eventual Director of Track and Field at her alma mater Eastern Michigan University. We get some great advice on what it takes to win so many team championships and her counsel will help you become more successful.

Coming off of a magical 2021, we sit down with women's cross country head coach Diljeet Taylor to learn her unique journey. Her story is one of encouragement and belief, starting with a 5th grade teacher telling her she could be anything to Coach Robin Johnson (9th grade track coach) writing a special note before a meet. We find out the impact these small but immensely meaningful actions meant to her and how they impacted her career.
Then we turn our attention to the unique season in 2021 where her team competed at the NCAA DI indoor national championships on the same weekend as the cross country national championships. Hear her thought process on how she lead her team to one of the most impressive weekends ever recorded for collegiate track and cross country and the meaning behind #BYUrun4her.

Happy New Year! We hope that you all are able to look back at 2021 and be confident with what has gotten you to this place today. Keep on, keeping on! In this last episode of the year, we look forward to what is coming up for the track and field world but not without giving some brainspace to the CFP!!! The tiles give their insight as to how these last four teams are going to move through the trenches and who will prevail as "winners" of their respective bowl games. In the sprint world, we have a major event difference...the 60m/100m or 110m for the short sprints. Listen in as to the perspectives of The Governor, Lamar, Clyde, and Sir Lucious describe the subtle or not so subtle differences of the events. Then I dare ask the question, in the NCAA indoor season, what records are going to be challenged if not BROKE by March 2022? Consider who remains in the NCAA, who has left, and who has added who to their rosters. Lastly, mentioning transitions, Warholm has made mention of a switch to the 800m from the 400mh. The gents discuss some potential motives of the move and why or why not they want it to happen. Clyde lines up for RAPID FIRE, and we move into the last HBP for the year. Thanks for a great 2021, Athletics LLC community, we appreciate ya!

This week, these tiles are getting suspect about all these claims happening. We, specifically Sir Lucious, need some OCULAR PROOF in these streets! Conversation starts with CFP and sheesh! That's all I need to say right here...you can hear the rest and decide where you stand. Then...sprinters, why is the 400 meter pool taking different shape? Listen to the words that are said...I think you'll hit pause to think about what is said! Lastly, with the Coaches Convention coming up, what do you think should be added to the docket? Do you have any of the same thoughts as the tiles??? Get ready for the surprise that Clyde leads us into for next week and see you all soon!!!
