This week we decided to get worldly and check out 2004's Kung Fu Hustle by Hong Kong filmmaker Stephen Chow. This martial arts film blends action, comedy, history and cartoon wackiness all into one. We even have a guest join us, so give a nice warm welcome to Asian Jimmy.

Actual Jimmy and Rob checked out US and review it here and we also check in on the zombies of Walking Dead with a comprehensive review of the mostly triumphant season 9.

And our question of the week:

What are the 5 best batshit crazy foreign films that you have seen?

Remember if you use our link (https://amzn.to/2KxR8OU) we get a little bit of money towards server costs at no extra cost to you. So go ahead and buy those Animal Butt Magnets you've always wanted.

One of our hosts knows waaaaaaay too much about Motley Crue, so we cover The Dirt (Netflix exclusive film) and not much else. How much of the crazy debauchery actually happened and how are the boys from the Crue still alive? Did these guys have sex with every woman in America between 1981 and 1989? (even your mom) What was it like growing up as a fan of the band, but not a fan of how the members acted?

Growing up in the 80's was interesting, but everything seemed like it was a myth due to the lack of cameras everywhere and the internet to share things. The Dirt exposes all of it.

Speaking of exposed! We also decide to try out the ever trendy Florida Man Challenge. Who gets the weirdest story?

You guys get 2 questions this week:

1. What are the 5 biggest instances of Rock N Roll debauchery?

2. What bands do you not understand why everyone loves?

Remember if you use our link (https://amzn.to/2KxR8OU) we get a little bit of money towards server costs at no extra cost to you. So go ahead and buy those Animal Butt Magnets you've always wanted.

Last year, a ton of anthology series came out. (so many that we did an entire anthology episode) When we heard about Love Death and Robots, the new animated anthology series we were skeptical. It turns out that this was one of the best of the bunch, with 18 innovative, fun, beautiful and badass short films.

We also take a look at the film about the insane Black metal scene in Norway and the church burnings, suicide and murder that it brought, Wonder Park. (kidding, that was Lords of Chaos)

But we did watch Wonder Park as well, and there was a little bit of disconnect between the trailer and the film.

we also discuss the big news about the Disney acquisition of all the Fox properties. What does that mean for the media landscape?

And our question of the week:

A huge week on the Give Me Five Podcast. A friend of the Five, Lunr1982 is allowing us to debut a brand new track set to release this week on Bandcamp (and other fine purveyors of synthwave). The track was written with Shyguys and features vocals from George Ergemlidze. Check it out.

We also cover a film that all 3 of us were looking forward to. Captain Marvel. Did it meet the hype? Was it worthy of the Marvel Films pedigree? We discuss those things and all things Flerkin.

Finally a few short topics, Rob watched the Order, and Greg Danced on the Ceiling with Lionel Richie.

And our question of the week:

What 5 female characters deserve their own films?
