In the 1920's, the United States and Canada were terrorized by a truly disturbed individual, Earle Leonard Nelson. His animalistic urges and traits earned him many names in the media. This beast of a man, often referred to as 'The Dark Strangler' or 'The Gorilla Strangler', would prey on the unsuspecting landladies that provided him with shelter. He repaid their kindness in the most vile way.
