Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander were involved in a tumultuous and ultimately tragic relationship that ended in one of the most infamous murder cases in recent history.

After meeting at a Pre-Paid Legal Services convention, Arias and Alexander quickly became romantically involved. Despite the physical distance between them—Arias lived in California while Alexander was in Arizona—their relationship intensified. Arias converted to Mormonism for Alexander, and they began an on-and-off relationship that was both passionate and troubled.

The relationship between the couple is often cited as an example of how passion, jealousy, and obsession can lead to tragic outcomes.

In 2010, Lori Erica Ruff tragically took her own life in Longview, Texas. After her death, her husband Blake and his family discovered a lockbox containing documents revealing clues to her true identity. However, what they found raised more questions than answers, including the discovery of her original name and the bizarre steps she took to erase her past. While Lori's true identity was eventually revealed years later and internet sleuths tried desperately to find the reason for her secrecy, we still have no solid answers as to why she felt the need to change her identity, not just once, but several times.

Wade Wilson, (No, not Deadpool) is known for his involvement in a series of brutal killings in Cape Coral, Florida. His trial gained significant media attention due to the heinous nature of his crimes and his disturbing behavior. Wilson's appearance is particularly notable due to the prominent tattoos covering his face, which contributed to his menacing and disturbing image during his trial. Unfortunately he seems to have garnered a lot of attention from ladies who find him attractive (Ew).

Today, we conclude our series on Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka by discussing Paul's arrest and trial. This includes examining the controversial "Deal with the Devil" made by the Canadian legal system, where Karla Homolka was portrayed as a battered wife coerced into participating in the crimes by her abusive husband. However, we now know that this portrayal was far from the truth.

Currently, Paul Bernardo remains incarcerated, serving a life sentence for his horrific crimes. On the other hand, Karla Homolka has served her 12-year sentence and is now living under a new identity. She resides in Quebec with her family, attempting to lead a private life away from the public eye.

In Part 3 of our Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka series, we discuss their farcical wedding and Paul's misguided attempt to profit from their guests. Despite their wedding, they did not slow down in their hunt for new victims. Together, they lured young women and girls, often using Karla to gain their victims' trust. Tragically, 15-year-old Kristen French encountered the killer couple in broad daylight while walking home from school through a church parking lot.
