On this episode, we are back ripping into the life of Joseph ... this is part 4 ... this is the part where the hurricane finally hits ... where Joseph's world is turned upside down, but God has an incredible plan He is working through all of it.

God also has an incredible plan that He wants to work in your life if you will simply trust Him through whatever hurricanes that you face. You have a choice to make. You always have a choice to make. We can't always determine what happens to us, but we can always determine how we respond to what happens to us. You chose your response and that's what makes all the difference.

Joseph chose to respond manly, godly, wisely ... and it brought about an amazing miracle and we need to follow his example.

On this episode I talk more about “The Comfort Crisis” that is killing Americans and why you need to do hard things, get fit, and go ruck!

I share what's motivated me to get healthy, fit, stronger, tougher, etc.

I also talk about one of my big frustrations with pastors, youth pastors, and other "spiritual leaders."

Here's the hard reality of what our obsession with comfort is doing to our health ...

- 32% of Americans are overweight and 38 percent are obese. Eight percent of the latter classify as "extremely obese." That makes a collective 70 percent of us too heavy.

- Nearly a third of us now have diabetes or prediabetes.

- More than 40 million Americans have mobility problems that hinder them from getting from point A to point B.

- Heart disease kills 25% of us.

And these are all medical issues that were essentially non-existent until the twentieth century.

At the end of this episode, I specifically talk about rucking and its benefits. "Ruck" is both a noun and a verb. It's a thing and an action. It's military-speak for the heavy backpack that carries all of the items a soldier needs to fight a war. And "to ruck" or "rucking" is the act of marching that ruck in war, or as a form of training for soldier or civilians to get really, really fit.

Biblical Professor/Author Michael A. Milton rightly said, "The rebellious nature of one generation will have an invariable effect upon the following generation and even the generation after that." I believe the reverse of that is also true (let me flip the coin) ... Biblical Professor GRIZ rightly said, "The godly nature of one generation will have an invariable effect upon the following generation and even the generation after that."

Daniel Ritchie was born without arms, but God has given him a thriving life.
