On this episode, I interview a man who has much to teach us about God, life, marriage, family, ministry, and how to face and overcome incredible debilitating challenges that would defeat most men.

His name ... is Daniel Ritchie ... and he's a brother from another mother whom I've grown to deeply respect and appreciate (and I'm grateful to call him a friend).

This dude was literally born with no arms. You heard that right ... he was born with no arms! He's now 37-years-old and for his entire 37-years on the planet he's had to teach himself to successfully function in life with no arms, no hands, no fingers, no thumbs ... and guess what? By the grace of God, he's crushing it!

He literally uses his feet and toes for just about everything ... he drives a normal car, mows the grass, operates a weed wacker, operates a chainsaw, types on his phone and computer, has authored two books, and travels the world sharing the gospel message ... BUT for the majority of his life, he was told that he was nothing but a "hopeless mistake" who would never live a "normal life." God had other plans.

This dude inspires and motivates me (big time) and I know he will do the same for you!

We as humans long for pleasure, but many of us settle for sinful pleasures that sicken our lives. God is not anti-pleasure. Our longings for pleasure ultimately come from Him. Sin in us has corrupted our longings for pleasure. We humans take a good pleasure and corrupt it or abuse it. As men, we have to take time to enjoy the good pleasures that our Creator has given us in order to starve our sinful desires for sinful pleasures. You overcome evil with good.

The reality is ... what his doctor told him to do, you also need to be doing or you're going to pay the price. You see, when it comes to your health/fitness, you can either pay the price now to make yourself healthy/fit ... or you will pay the price later for neglecting your health/fitness ... and that price will involve sickness, disease, disability, pain, medical bills/debt, or even death.

The choice is yours.

I'm not proud of it, but in my late thirties and into my forties I accumulated a mountain of debt. At that time in my life, I admit that wasn't living as wise, self-controlled, and disciplined as I should have been as a Christian man. Several areas of my life were not in check at that time ... and my money management was one of those areas ... and as a result, I accumulated a mountain of debt that overwhelmed me, embarrassed me, and felt impossible to conquer. Many of you listening have been there. Some of you are there right now.

This episode will help you. I'm going to share with you the steps that I took to conquer that mountain of debt. I have been debt free for several years now, and I'm telling you ... it's a wonderful feeling.
