  • Growth doesn't happen in our safe zone: What Charlie Kirk got right.

Comfort feels safe, but it’s quietly dividing us. When we refuse to get uncomfortable, when we won’t sit down across from one another and have honest conversations, we lose the chance to really hear, understand, and grow together. Instead, we cling to the sound bites, highlight reels, and media clips that keep us in our corners.

In this episode, I dive into why the solution isn’t “out there” in the noise...it’s within us. It’s in choosing discomfort over silence, leaning into dialogue instead of division, and having the courage to ask ourselves:

Why do I believe what I believe?

Is it actually true? Or am I just repeating what I’ve heard?

I’ll also share how Charlie Kirk got one thing right: he called us to be uncomfortable. He invited us to examine, to research, to think critically, and to show compassion for one another. Because real change won’t happen until we’re willing to stop consuming and start connecting.

And to tie this together, I want to bring in one of my favorite books, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. This little book lays out four powerful principles for living with integrity and freedom:

    1. Be impeccable with your word.

    2. Don’t take anything personally.

    3. Don’t make assumptions.

    4. Always do your best.

When we practice these, especially not taking things personally and not making assumptions, we open the door for deeper conversations, more compassion, and a whole lot less division.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of our divided world, this episode will challenge you to see discomfort differently—not as pain to avoid, but as the pathway to growth, unity, and transformation.

👉 Tune in and let’s explore what’s possible when we choose conversation over comfort.

  • Who Am I Now? Rediscovering Yourself After the Nest Empties

There comes a moment when the noise quiets down. The house feels different, the roles you’ve held for years start to shift, and you find yourself looking in the mirror wondering… Who am I now?

In today’s episode, I’m opening up about that tender season of life where the busyness fades and what’s left is an awareness of yourself — sometimes for the first time in decades. It can feel lonely. It can feel strange. And yet, this is often the very place where God begins to whisper, “Daughter, it’s time to remember who you are.”

I share a personal story that changed how I looked at seasons forever, and I’ll invite you to think about what might be bubbling under the lid you’ve kept shut tight...the dreams, the hurts, even the parts of yourself you’ve put on hold while caring for everyone else.

This isn’t an easy conversation, but it’s a necessary one. Because on the other side of this transition is a version of you that is more grounded, more authentic, and more aligned than ever before.

If you’ve been feeling lost in the quiet, or if you’re longing to reconnect with who God created you to be, I want you to know you are not alone. Pull up a chair, take a breath, and let’s walk through this together.

    Spoken Word For This Season:

“God is not done with me.
I am stepping into a new season with courage.
I release the fear of who I was,
and I embrace the woman I am becoming.
I am grounded. I am worthy. I am loved.
And I will rise into who God created me to be.”

  • Redefining Divorce: How Gina Yaklich Nichols is Helping Women Rise with Dignity

Today on The Growth Lounge, I’m joined by the incredible Gina Nichols — certified life coach, dynamic speaker, and founder of Divorce: Redefined.

After walking through the heartbreak of four divorces, raising a blended family (including four kids under five and an unexpected set of twins), and even reaching a point where she didn’t want to go on… Gina made a powerful choice: her story would not end in brokenness.

Instead, she turned her pain into purpose. With persistence, faith, and just the right amount of stubbornness, Gina has redefined what it means to rise after divorce. She now helps high-achieving women stop letting divorce define them — and start creating the life they were always meant to live.

    In this episode, Gina shares:

    • Her deeply personal journey of moving through shame and guilt into healing and joy.

    • How the 180 Method coaching became a turning point, helping her find happiness and celebrate 20 years of marriage with the love of her life.

    • Why the never-ending pursuit of your best self inspires the people you love to rise, too.

✨ Whether you’ve experienced divorce or you simply need a reminder that your story isn’t over, this conversation is packed with heart, hope, and healing.

  • T is for Take Your Seat – You Belong in the Room

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 6 of The Growth Lounge!

Today we’re wrapping up the L.I.G.H.T. Method — the framework that’s been guiding us through healing, clarity, and coming home to who we truly are.

This final step? It’s the one so many of us resist.

    It’s bold.

    It’s vulnerable.

    And it’s everything.

T is for Take Your Seat.

Because after you’ve pulled the lid off, immersed in the middle, gotten quiet, and started to harness growth… the next step is to stop shrinking and start showing up.

    ✨ Inside this episode:

    • What it really means to take your seat in this season
    • Why women stay stuck on the sidelines of their own lives
    • There is a table with your name on it.. and God has already pulled the chair out- you just have to get in the room.
    • The connection between boldness, and belonging and pushing through resistance
    • Practical examples of what “taking your seat” looks like
    • Three journal prompts to help you step into the room you’ve been avoiding

💛 This episode is especially for you if:

    • You feel like you’ve outgrown your current environment
    • You’ve been downplaying your voice, gifts, or vision
    • You’re waiting to feel “ready” before saying yes to your next level
    • You’re longing for a space to belong without performing or pretending

  • H is for Harness Growth – Why You’re Not Meant to Do This Alone

“Sometimes the only thing standing between where you are and where God is calling you… is the ceiling you didn’t realize you built.” ~ Voice Unbound

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 5 of The Growth Lounge!
We’re continuing our journey through the L.I.G.H.T. Method — a soul-led framework I created for the woman who’s been everything to everyone, and is now asking… what about me?

    Today’s step is a big one — it’s H for Harness Growth.
Because real growth doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens on purpose — and with support.

In this episode, I’m talking about what it looks like to stop shrinking, stop hiding, and finally choose the next version of yourself… even when it’s uncomfortable.

    ✨ Inside this episode:

    • What “hitting an upper limit” actually looks like (and why it’s not a bad thing)

    • Why women in midlife often get stuck despite reading all the books, doing all the things, and trying to change

    • The myth of self-sufficiency and how isolation keeps us stuck

    • How mentorship, sisterhood, and spiritual guidance create momentum for growth

    • Encouragement to open yourself to receiving help, not just giving it

    • 3 guided journal prompts to help you reflect, uncover your blocks, and move forward

🧠 This episode is especially for you if:

    • You’re craving growth but keep hitting the same wall

    • You feel stuck between who you were and who you’re becoming

    • You’re secretly afraid to ask for help because you’ve always been the strong one

    • You long to be surrounded by women who get it — who are walking the same path of healing, reinvention, and faith-filled transformation

    🎯 You’ll walk away with:

    • A mindset shift around what real growth requires

    • Permission to receive instead of perform

    • Clarity on your next step and who might help you get there

    • A reminder that your healing journey is sacred, and you don’t have to do it alone

  • G is for Get Quiet – Stillness Is Where the Breakthrough Begins

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 4 of The Growth Lounge!
We’re continuing our journey through the L.I.G.H.T. Method — a personal framework I created to help women peel back the layers, reconnect with themselves, and rise into who they were always meant to be.

Today, we’re exploring the third step: G – Get Quiet.
This is the part of the process where transformation takes root — not through doing more, but through being still.

    ✨ Inside this episode:

    • Why stillness often feels scary for high-functioning women

    • How busyness keeps us from hearing what we truly need

    • The sacred connection between silence and clarity

    • Simple ways to start creating quiet space in your day

    • A powerful reframe: You’re not lost — you’re just loud

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your intuition, your peace, or even your faith… this episode is your invitation to turn down the noise and tune back in.
