  • [Relaxation] Mindfulness Meditation Intro: A no BS meditation - Becoming self aware without all the woowoo and fluffy stuff. Episode 031

If you've always found the idea of mindfulness or meditation too "fluffy", "spiritual" or "woowoo" but have also been intrigued by it then this is probably what you need to listen to in order to change your mind.

It's a simple, no BS mindfulness meditation.

All you have to do is sit with your eyes closed somewhere you're not going to be disturbed, listen and follow my simple instructions.

If your mind wanders and starts thinking about other things then that's ok, it's completely normal and happens to even the most experienced meditators.

When your mind wanders off keep calm, don't judge yourself and just tune back into listening to my voice.

    It's that simple.

Really hope that you enjoy it.

  • [Relationships] The Worst Thing you can do when overcoming a bad break-up - Episode 030

Whether your break-up is one that you've chosen, is amicable or had forced upon you it's always going to be emotionally charged.

The last thing that you need is even more emotion in your life.

I've become more aware recently of people starting to create insulting nicknames for their ex-partners for a laugh.

Whilst it can seem like completely harmless fun it will actually be doing more damage to you than you realise.

  • [Mindset Change] Does Everything Happen for a Reason? The episode that'll lose me followers. Episode 029

This will probably lose me subscribers but it's just my opinion.

Everything happens for a reason, or so all of us have been told time and time again - but is it true?

I asked myself this and had a really long hard think about the subject matter and this is what I came up with.

Whether you believe that everything happens for a reason, or that God has a plan for you, or that the universe has got your back or that Karma will see you right I would love you to listen and give me your feedback, positive and negative.

  • [Mindset Change] When S#!t hits the fan, what do I do as a life coach/therapist? This. Episode 027

No matter who you are and what you do you’re not immune from things falling down around you, whether that be from your own mistakes or the universe just throwing the middle finger up at you for no apparent reason.

As a life coach exactly the same rules apply to me, unfortunately sometimes you get awful news that changes everything for you - sometimes long term, sometimes more briefly.  Sadly this happened to me recently and after some time to process the news it occurred to me that how I go through and process things might be of interest or helpful to other people.

After consulting my awesome Instagram followers with a poll it turned out I was right as I was given an overwhelming yes.  So, here it is - a step by step guide to how I deal with shit happening to me.

I want to be clear though, I don’t robotically go through this in order like a psycho, in fact prior to writing this blog I didn’t even know what my exact steps were.  I knew there were things that I do to help me overcome obstacles but I’d never set them out in a meaningful way before.

This has actually been a really interesting exercise for me to go through to discover my own process.  I guess rather than a step by step process this is more of a guide on the things that I think are important to do to help you deal with obstacles in life.

They’re things to keep in mind when the shit hits the fan!  Right, I’ll stop rambling and get on with it.

The term narcissist is thrown around a lot these days and with the non-stop rise of social media and selfies it is hardly surprising.
