In 1974, Ronald Clark O'Bryan would commit a crime that would alter Halloween for the state of Texas for a whole generation of children and still has rippling effects today. We always warn our children about the importance of checking their Halloween candy from strangers, but this night it was not a stranger who poisoned the candy and ruined Halloween.
