The cover a kalidoscope of different genres under the psychedelic umbrella.  Mariya May, Mo Douglas, and Prince Joely stopped by this week! We talked about what makes you love a song, authenticity of cursing, how they started the label, hilltop hoods, we play LPD, and talk about all their upcoming projects. This episode's title says it all! We hit the road this summer with stops at the Wildwood Music Festival and Pickathon! We got to talk to some incredible artists, and in case that wasn't enough, we dusted off a few interviews from the (hopefully-not-last) Bridgetown Comedy Fest. In part one, we sat down with country music soul-squeezer Willy Tea Taylor, comedian April Richardson, the dashing lads in Young Jesus, and they dynamic duo of Shane Torres and Ian Karmel.

Young Hunter fuses heavy psych with the soul of a poetic, desert-nomad balladeer...and we hung out with 80% of them this week! Ben, Sara, Erik, and Sam popped in to talk about the viability of CDs as weapons, unabashed lyrical earnestness, and the vanishing pleasures of a loose cigarette. We also touched on side projects like SOMNA, Erik and Sam's prog/thrash avalanche. Young Hunter's most recent release "Dayhiker" is a Haute Garbage favorite and is available on bandcamp. You can catch him all the way live on Saturday, July 13 at the Liquor Store in Portland (with fellow "Best Of"-er Fountaine and the ever-best Hustle & Drone) and at PDX Pop Now! on Saturday, July 20.

Beat maker, DJ, visual artist (and skateboard artist) Northern Draw hangs loose this week. A man of many parts, Northern Draw curates the monthly beat showcase Thirsty City at the White Owl Social Club and hosts KBOO's "The Movement" show each Sunday in addition to churning out dope grooves and honing his artistic craft. His latest single "Blanc!" drops on vinyl June 26, and you can see him spin that night at Thirsty City. Peppered into our typical nonsense this week are some gems about the important link between skate and hip-hop cultures, what it means to be more artist than musician, and Drew's troubling willingness to eschew a proper bathroom.
