“God, Fantasy, & Lust” - How does the Gospel integrate in with our unwanted sexual behaviors?
Please join Mr. Jay Stringer- ordained minister, licensed mental health counselor, and researcher- and myself, for an integrated conversation around Jay’s work with faith, spirituality, and human sexuality.
Jay has completed incredible research over the years in working with men and women around their fantasies, lusts, and unwanted sexual behaviors. Through his work and his understanding of deep grace and theology-deeper understanding than most of The Church has ever taught or conceptualized-Jay has discovered so much of these experiences are actually road maps into deeper places of healing. We discuss identity, Eros energy, affairs and pornography, adverse childhood experiences, what sets up for unwanted sexual behaviors, and how do we find our way out?
It is a complete honor and privilege to have Mr. Jay Stringer on as a guest, and if you haven’t already, you’ll want to check out his brilliant book “ Unwanted”. Please enjoy the show !
