"Imagine for a moment that you are in a world in which you pass by others unnoticed. You cannot capture anyone's attention and are ignored by all around you. No one takes an interest in your activities, shares your joys, or comforts you in your sorrows. People in a quandary do not seek advice or emotional support from you, nor does anyone care about your opinions. In short, you are virtually invisible. You make a difference in no one's life. You feel alone in the company of your family, in your workplace, and in your community."

"What we see and where we focus profoundly affects our lives. You've likely heard the adage that we become what we behold, and I believe there is much truth to that statement. When seasons of illness, diminishment, heartache, and disappointment loom large, it is a fight to hold on to hope. Why? Because what we see and what we focus on have a way of informing our thoughts, feelings, and eventually beliefs."
-Paige Allen, He Knows Your Name
Have you ever considered how your life might change if you 100% believe that you are indeed, a daughter of God? What affect would that have on the way you move through the day? Not just tritely say, "Oh, yes, I'm a child of God..." but let that idea of "belonging" saturate your soul. In Part 2, Paige and Janell give this idea a whole lot of room to breathe.

"Have you ever felt you were not moving forward in your life, but were not sure what was holding you back? You knew something prevented you from growing emotionally and spiritually, but you couldn't put your finger on what. Uncovering what makes us stay stuck is vital because dwelling in a pit only allows us to watch and dream. We can't walk into the plans and purposes God has gifted and called us to be while remaining stuck."
-Tracy Hester, "Get Up Girl! Getting Unstuck and Living Free"
In Part 2, Author and Life Coach, Tracy Hester, shares how an exhibit at a local museum helped her understand the concert of "being stuck" in a whole new way. As she read the history of the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, her eyes were opened to the perils of her own stuckness in life.

"When we view (perceive) prayer as a call to duty or a responsibility, it also affects how we approach it. We feel obliged to pray and guilty when we don't do it. This perspective often leads us to believe that negative consequences may befall us if we neglect prayer and makes our prayer life driven by fear and guilt. But, 2 Timothy 1:7 states, 'For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.'"
Does our perception process affect our prayer life? In Part 2, Janet McHenry, author of Praying Personalities: Finding Your Natural Prayer Style, continues to guide us into understanding the difference between perceiving prayer as a privilege instead of a responsibility. She also invites us to get to know our individual, God-breathed pray-er personality.
