Reagan Tokes was a 21 year old senior in college, eager to graduate and excited to begin the next chapter of her life. Reagan was beautiful, energetic, hard working, kind and motivated; she was such a bright light. But sometimes the brightest of lights draw attention from all kinds of people, and not all are good. Reagan’s life was stolen from her in February 2017 by a man many argue should have still been incarcerated from previous crimes. Her murder, while it infuriated many in her community, also kickstarted a conversation about the Ohio criminal justice system and called for legislative change.
