It's been a wild offseason so far and we're only getting started. Rick Rizzs, Mike Blowers, and Shannon Drayer get you all caught up to speed in the very first Hot Stove League Show of the offseason. In this hour, Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto joins the crew live from Orlando and the MLB Winter Meetings. Dipoto recaps the flurry of activity that went down as well as hint at what Seattle's roster plans are leading up to Spring Training.

710 ESPN Seattle's Mike Salk joins James and Shannon for an hour of baseball talk. The trio does the post-mortem on the Mariners attempt to sign Shohei Ohtani and takes a look at where the team stands as the Winter Meetings wrap up in Orlando. Is it time to rebuild or can the Mariners compete in 2018? Can the Dipoto systems and analytics make a difference in the absence of the addition of top tier talent? Salk is also treated to a round of "Good news, bad news, no news" from his own "Brock and Salk" show, this time, Mariners style.

Mariners beat reporter Shannon Drayer and 710 ESPN Seattle personality James Osborn break down the 2017 off season work for the Mariners and preview the frenzy that is about to occur with Shohei Ohtani to be posted soon.

The final hour of the 2017 "Cactus League Report" features Mariner Hall of Famer Alvin Davis who talks about his first season in the big leagues, his role as a special projects coach and his thoughts on the career of Ken Griffey Jr. Also Rick talks with Mariners 2nd baseman Robinson Cano and Aaron has a chat with Mariners shortstop Jean Segura.

It's the 2017 finale of the "Cactus League Report". Mariners minor league coordinator Andy McKay talks about the philosophies the organization instills in the minor leagues which has helped them succeed more than in year's past. Also Mariners pitcher Dan Altavilla and Mariners OF Leonys Martin join the show.

Aaron, Shannon and Mike talk to Mariners beat writer Greg Johns as he talks about the state of the team now that everyone is back from the WBC. Mariners producer/engineer Kevin Cremin is retiring at the end of the season and he gives us a special Spring Training edition of "Road Eats". Plus an interview with Mariners Hall of Famer Jamie Moyer.

Aaron talks with Mariners closer Edwin Diaz about his whirlwind year taking him from a starter at AA, converting to a reliever and then closer. Not only that but his son was born during the All-Star break. He talks about how he worked Joaquin Benoit to make his slider into the weapon it is now. He says he's perfectly fine spending the rest of his career as a closer.
