  • Making Decisions For Future Us

Today I'm talking about making decisions for future us in the present moment. All of our decisions have consequences whether we are alive to see them or not. I've been reflecting a lot during this pandemic on how the life of future generations will be affected by current events and how can we make the right decisions to make the place a better place to live even when we are not around anymore. I have been attending the Bento Society (created by Yancey Strickler) weekly calls and I have really enjoyed the Bento model he proposes and I thought it would be a good tool to share in the show today.

You can find the diagram below to guide you along as you listen to the episode.

On this episode, you'll learn how to make decisions for future us as well as...
    • Bentoism
    • The four quadrants of the Bento Model
    • The definition of a beautiful question and how to use it
    • and much more...

  • Building a Community as a Facilitator Not a Guru

Way before I coined the term 'The Gentle Marketing Revolution' Eli Trier was talking about quiet revolutions and I quote 'starting a marketing revolution with integrity'.

Eli believes that fostering authentic, human connections with like-minded people is the fastest, easiest, and most effective way for you to market (and run) your business.

In 2013, she wrote & illustrated a book, The Gratitude Project, which transitioned her into freelance illustration and creativity coaching. That was when she fell in love with running community projects. In 2018, Eli came to the realization that all she wanted to do was run community projects. A week later she had a website up and a beta client to test out her methodology, and she was off! Eli is still obsessed: She adores her work and the incredible clients. This is the work she was born to do.

[Tweet ""True authenticity is honest even when it's not convenient" - Eli Trier #gentlemarketing #community"]

On this episode, you'll learn about building a community as a facilitator not a guru as well as...
    • Eli's story and how she realized that all she wanted to do was run community projects
    • Her definition of a community and how it's different from a tribe
    • What a community project really is
    • How to authentically connect with your people
    • And much more left brain and right brain stuff.

  • You Can't Reverse Engineer Into Purpose Branding!

On today's solo episode, I'm talking about why you can't reverse engineer into purpose branding! Brands that struggle with marketing usually do so because they were created without a purpose in mind. It's impossible to just start a company and then suddenly pretend you care about certain issues. If you want your marketing to flow easily, you have to start with purpose instead.

[Tweet ""Purpose is not just to be used as the latest marketing scheme" - Sarah Santacroce #gentlemarketing #purpose"]

On this episode, you'll learn why you can't reverse engineer into purpose branding as well as...
    • Why marketing is so difficult when you don't start with purpose

    • How the Gentle Marketing book approaches this topic
