Procrastination is the action of unnecessarily and voluntarily delaying or postponing something despite knowing that there will be negative consequences for doing so. The word has originated from the Latin word procrastinatus, which itself evolved from the prefix pro-, meaning "forward," and crastinus, meaning "of tomorrow.” Oftentimes, it is a habitual human behaviour.
Procrastination is a trap that many of us fall into. In fact, according to researcher, 95 percent of us procrastinate to some degree. While it may be comforting to know that you're not alone, it can be sobering to realize just how much it can hold you back.
In this podcast, we look at why it happens, and we explore strategies for managing and prioritizing your workload more effectively.
