If you've given your life to Jesus Christ, someday you'll be united with Him in heaven like a wife being united forever with her husband. And He loves you just as much, and even more. As Pastor Bill will point out in today's message, Jesus loved you so much that He gave His life for you on the cross, so you could be forgiven of your sins and spend eternity with Him in Heaven. It's the greatest love anyone could have for you. Nothing compares, and it isn't dependent on anything you've done in the past.

Throughout our lives, we all reach a point where we must make a decision: do we continue down the path the world has set for us, or do we follow Jesus? Do we chase temporary pleasures that lead to destruction, or step into the light with Christ, which leads to everlasting life? That’s why in today’s message, Pastor Bill reminds us that without Jesus, there is no other way into eternal life. As Jesus says, He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

In life, we find ourselves clinging to Jesus when things get hard. Like children afraid of the dark, we hold tightly to Him, and that’s exactly what we should do. But sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking that because Jesus is always there, we can place ourselves in dangerous situations, relying on His grace to rescue us when we knowingly sin. In marriage, we often look at our spouse and think, “They’re the only one for us.” Yet we know that many marriages today still end in divorce. Why is that? That deep love we have for our sons and daughters gives us a glimpse of the love God has for His creation. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, all because of His love for us. So today, Pastor Bill encourages you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receive the loving sacrifice He made for you on the cross.
