• Where do we see spiritual warfare in the bible?

• (12:22) Elaine - When I was young, I grew up in a haunted house. When i was little, I'd have nightmares. I would go to my parent’s room. Would see 2 angels in their doorway. That would calm me.
• (17:53) Maria - Mother is devout Catholic. Goes to Mass, confession, adoration. Convinced a family member is partaking in evil demonic activities and she's the target of it. She's had a lot of unusual things happen to her. Would that be considered some kind of spiritual warfare?

• Jacob - Live in a sketchy neighborhood. Somebody put a crow in my basement. Was in fear of it and demonic presence. Am I giving too much attention to the devil by leaving the house? Trying to ignore it.
• (27:24) Tom - Explain more about why he said not to get involved in crystals, also, how can we help loved ones to really heal from past wounds? I know the devil loves to keep you in anger and fear.
• Sarah - I have a sister I'm trying to help . Doesn't go to church. Have had conversations about this. She exhibited some rage after talking to her about it. I had a dream about her and she faded in the dream. I think she needs spiritual food. How do I deal with this?

• Randy - Spiritual warfare and PTSD...overall deal with spiritual warfare and experiences I've had. I called on Monday.
• (45:35) Dee Dee - My mom was into new age in the past. My sister and I were drawn to it. We're now stronger in our faith. I think some of the issues are still coming up though. My daughter doesn't sleep much (3 years). Around midnight or 3am, she will wake up screaming. How do we handle this?

• Who was Saint Therese?
• (16:11) Erin - I saw roses two different times after I finished the novena.
• Katelyn - I did the novena recently for my husband and I. In my childhood home, we had rose bushes. My mom said something one night and asked if someone did the novena. The bushes were covered in roses. We live in Arizona.

• (36:28) Mary - Given a rose from St. Therese. Husband was in an accident. Brain injury. I was praying and saw a vision of 3 roses. Told my friend and she said it was a gift. At work, there was a vase of 3 roses for me from an old friend, Theresa.

• Kaleb - I was in the army and in a train. Wanted an answer to a question in my life about marriage. Did the novena to St. Therese. Went to mass on the 9th day. liturgical color was rose.
• (44:58) Monica - My father diagnosed with cancer...my children were small. Went to pray in another room. Looked out the window and saw a rose in the garden where there was no bush. When he was recovering, found another rose growing there. Took both of them to him. He not only was cured, but came back to the church.

• (2:45) what is Gossip and why is it tempting?

• Barbara - I struggle with this a lot. Sometimes people don't know how to handle situations. Somebody hurts me and I don't know how to respond and I might go to somebody looking for advice but that person might twist it and tell somebody else.
• Nick - I think it's easy for me not to gossip although we're all prone to it. If we start to think of others wrongs, that's a poor judgement. All sin is a sin and we all just need to look in the mirror. That will keep us from gossiping.
• (32:03) Karen - Financial issue with trustee. Gave her confidential info and she threw it back at me after talking to a neighbor about it. She caused issues and made me look bad.
• John - I was in a prayer group in a Catholic community. Kind of new. I started to have visions. Lady had an illness, and my wife had been sick and almost died. I recommended an herbal substance. I was accused of being new age and got black balled. None of the members would talk to me after that. One lady said not to worry what others think. Very hard. Now, I'm active in a new Catholic church and member of knights.

• (7:09) what are the ranks of Angels?
• (13:08) Chris - I believe there was a point where I was saved by an angel at a work accident.

• Paula - My son is 48. When he was 9 months, I was traveling on a plane with him. I had an ectopic pregnancy. Sitting in airport with him...a couple sitting nearby. Asked lady to help me. They took me into ambulance...all was good...ended up in emergency rm. I always think that couple were my angels.
• (26:22) Kathleen - I felt angel Gabriel saved my sister. A week ago I asked for prayers for sister who was depressed. Relevant Radio prayed for us. Sister was in car accident. Someone asked her if she was OK. He witnessed the whole thing. She blacked out and 911 came. Dealt with brain bleed and now about a week later, she's doing much better.
• (30:04) Nancy - I was in an accident. Prior to the accident I said a prayer for protection. Everything that should have happened didn't. My husband witnessed a miracle and I avoided flipping over a truck. Hit so hard my handlebars bent together. I lifted off the seat and turned 180 degrees and ended up in a sitting position instead. I believe it was because of angels.
• (36:57) Randy - Guardian angel voice told me to move out of a fire area in Iraq in 2006. Also, when daughter was 5, we pulled into driveway. She saw a man that was fighting monsters. Got inside and she pointed to statue of St. Michael and she said that's the man.

• How are angels higher than human beings if human beings are made in the image of God?
• (43:04) Fred - Several years ago, involved in occult. I found out I was being spell cast by witches. Asked for the intercession of St. Gabriel. Walking to kitchen, saw golden white and felt peace and quiet vs the chaos. I looked into it and everything pointed into Archangel Gabriel. Sought help from parish and had priest visit.
• Janette - I had an experience with what I thought was an angel. Went to a retreat with aunt and wanted to say God bless you to someone. I saw an elderly woman standing by a bus stop. I walked toward her and she refused to look at me. Aunt tried to connect with her. All of a sudden she looked up and said 'you will go through many trials, but you will overcome because he has saved the world.' Shortly after, felt a warmth and knew that woman was an angel. She was out of sight after that.

• What was it like for Father to administer the anointing of the sick during Covid times?

• Bret – Some parishes have sessions of anointing of the sick. Is that allowed?
• (13:51) Walt - I have a sister in law who is not catholic and dying of cancer. If a non-Catholic requests it, can it be granted?
• Theresa - My granddaughter received a miracle hearing. She had seizures. It was my time to get anointed (I'm elderly) and a lady followed us and I asked Father to anoint my granddaughter. Said no because she isn't catholic, so I just anointed her myself. Started to be healed a week later.

• A woman writes in about getting anointed before an emergency C section and everything went well.
• (26:59) Scott - My son is having a surgery to remove his tousles. Would it be appropriate to have him get anointed? He has down syndrome?
• Margaret - Talking about niece and anointing of sick...Could you get anointing of the sick for someone who is on the autistic spectrum?
• (35:18) Robert - One of my best mates was to be anointed. He died 24 hours later. I think it was a great blessing.

• (43:02) Tom - I was in a hospital in '23. Almost died. Priest gave me the sacrament and I popped up immediately. Still alive today!
• Bella - My brother in law is baptized and has all the sacraments. Has leukemia, but refusing to see a priest or the sacraments. Any advice how to take it from here.
• (47:01) Cynthia - I went through an experience with my brother who had cancer. Pain out of control. Priest came and at first wasn’t going to receive communion. 15 minutes later we got a room and it was like my brother wasn't sick. Our Lord was so generous.

Fr. Eric Nielsen joins Patrick to discuss Miracles: Padre Pio

• Who was Padre Pio and what miracles did he do?
• (14:03) Why do some people get miracles and others don’t?
• (17:19) Juliette - My father was in a bad accident. He is on a ventilator. Tried to remove it. Did not succeed. 84 years old. At what point is it too much. Miracle he survived. I feel like there have been some answered prayers. Is that a miracle in itself that he was able to communicate his wishes?

• (23:45) Helen - When my daughter was 3, my daughter had a brain tumor. She had tumor removed. Came back. Went through surgery again, I prayed and asked that she not suffer if she was going to be taken. Tumor disappeared and now she's 39 years old. She's my miracle baby.

• Dan - I worked as a hospice chaplain, and one of the greatest pieces of advice...sometimes we just need to get out of God's way and let God do what he needs to do. The miracle of bringing a soul to heaven is the ultimate miracle.

• Barbara - Miracle when I was baptized. I was instantly delivered from smoking cigarettes. 45-year smoker.
• (41:59) Eileen - The priest who got me into my faith was leading a colorful life. Padre Pio told him he would become a priest one day. Love the story that he told him he would become a priest.
• Father shares an email about how can we pray when God doesn’t answer our prayer?
• (46:13) Brenda - Years after my mom passed, I was thinking about her and praying and walked to the living room and noticed a little star out of nowhere. I think it was a sign and miracle that she was there. Had this happen several other times. Miracle think it was the Lord saying 'I have them.'

• John - I feel like I've had 3 experiences in my life that have been that experience. Didn't know what to call it. Happened after an accident, after dealing with a son with schizophrenia, and prostate cancer. I think in all three instances, God was asking if I was still there. I've become way less 'black and white.' This is how He's gotten my attention.
