• How can we practice martyrdom in our life.
• (14:48) Julie - My great grandfather was John Rogers, burnt at the stake in 1555.  I find it interesting b/c the protestants were doing the persecution and don't understand the Queen.  What was the big fuss and the conflict.

• Nick - Those wounds that we share with him are like the jewels in heaven.   That was very powerful that they recognized him by his wounds and good message.   We could also offer up little martyrdoms.

• Dawn - I grew up in a home with alcoholic parents and I had a brother who had alcoholism. It had a bad impact in my life. Marijuana is also bad.

• 11:37 Grace - My brother used psych drugs. It was great at the beginning but then it got bad.
• 11:30 Clare - I am a mental health counselor and I've been so surprised by how many people have drug-induced psychosis from eating too many edibles.
• Will - Drugs are so widespread- esp. the opioid epidemic. Those that don't do drugs might not know how bad it is.

• John - I'm a child of the 60s and I lived in Florida and worked in Miami. I wound up with a nasty cocaine addiction. My addiction led to divorce. I'm very concerned about the impact of addiction. Homelessness is often the result of destroyed marriages.
• 11:55 Mandi - My dad struggled with drug addiction. After my mom died, my dad got back into drugs and ended up homeless and on the street. It was only through the Chaplet of Divine Mercy that he got sober. His mom did drugs with him in the womb.

• (4:31) – Why do we need to go to confession?
• Teresa - I went to confession when I was 21, I have been dating my husband to be. The second time he said I recognize your voice and couldn't forgive you again. And we break away from the Catholic Church. I commend that priest for sending me straight. More priests should be like him.

• Maria - Do you have to be a baptized Catholic to receive the sacrament of confession? Or can you be any baptized Christian?
• (29:30) James - Why don't we do everything in the rubric that the sacrament requires nowadays? Readings psalms and other prep work which we forgo. If we did it would take like 15 min to do each person.

• Cindy - My mother is in late stages of dementia. What happens if she does have sins but doesn't remember?
• (40:38) Barbara - My son went to confession after 14 years, felt like a new person
• Mercedes - I usually go to confession every month or every two weeks; I like to write my sins and bring them with me, so I don’t forget.
• Rick - Does the contrition prayer in the evening counts for confession?
• Clair - Turning 30 next year, I really woke up to everything for how I have been living for so long. I was baptized Catholic; I was not confirmed. I haven’t been to church in a long time. I am not sure how to get back to church on my own.
