This really is a flow through the thoughts and things I’m processing internally, and how I feel in my body! How I’m experiencing these shifts.

Wearing dangly earrings around the house, for me, because it feels good! Huge thing for me!

How, now that I don’t just dress in boy clothes like the Tom-boy I was of old, how do I be friends with male-bodied humans!?

Turns out being unattractive in my mind was a protection. But what if I’m attractive!? What if I’m attracted to others!? — and how UNSAFE this experience is FOR NOW- as I notice and sit with my programmed experiences.

Is attraction sin!?

Am I a bad person for having someone find me attractive!? There’s no freedom and flow in this, but this has been my experience…

How does attraction play a part in platonic friendships!?

I’m so programmed to focus on the body but NOT BE IN my body! — this is the journey home. To begin bringing gentle awareness to these patterns as I speak them out loud and release them.

There is no other place I can experience this physical world from!

I picked a book up from a friends kitchen table, flicked through it, and found these words! This quote, this invitation!

‘Surrender your deep heart fully to be claimed by loves earthly embodiment…’

And offftt, these words, oh my heart.

Oh to be open in more and more moments!

Soften and slow down.

There is a shift happening in me. It’s scares me, and it also, at the same time, invites me deeper into my desire! Into my aches!

‘What if I can’t ask for too much?

What if my need is present because it CAN be met!?

Even and especially when the old program tells me I can’t, it’s not possible!?’

‘When you get to it, you’ll know— it just comes naturally’ — (friend)

My body knows, and longs for this openness and the depth of connection this could and can bring…my mind has stories...that often keep me closed.

This is another layer of shedding those stories, this journey into more openness. A cracking open!

Today’s episode captures my process of speaking it out loud until I find my truth around and about connection, opening up to connection. This deep desire to feel connected and allow myself to have friendship. To let go and trust that I am safe.

I realise I often have contingency plans, I don’t expect that friendship can last. I am always waiting to be asked to leave. Oh how this makes it hard to let go and receive connection and care!

In order to allow connection in I need to be present with all these protective parts of myself. This is my getting to know who is in there, protecting me!

I’m incredibly apprehensive about releasing this episode, hence the delay between recording it and sending it off into the world!

But healing has come in so many other places of my life through removing the shame and talking about the thing, wrapping words around ans through and in and so I’m showing up for myself, admitting to myself first and foremost, acknowledging and letting it be witnessed and held, by myself and then here as a podcast.

I know I’m not the only one who has walked this and felt this and experiences this— there are hundreds of us who showed up to do the 5 day diet detox with Colleen and ‘The Socieaty.’

This is my first podcast! Eeeek! What am I doing!?
