This week, we have a lovely chat Michelle Damiani, a clinical psychologist, author and lover of Italy, who with her husband moved their family to the town of Spello for an entire year in 2012. While in Spello, she wrote a blog about their experiences, entitled “Il Bel Centro”. Once returned to the USA, she transformed the blog into a book, which was listed by Huffington Post as one of the “Top 10 Fascinating Books about Living in a Foreign Country”. She has also written a series of four novels that take place in a fictional town of Santa Lucia, loosely based on her beloved Spello. She has also written “The Road Taken: How to Dream, Plan, and Live Your Family Adventure Abroad.
