They say history repeats itself and that could be true if Vancouver eventually wins the bid for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
After all, there’s some precedent: BC Place hosted the 2015 Women’s World Cup, so both FIFA and the City are previous business partners.
But the men’s tournament would require some key changes to BC Place.
