  • What we work so hard to get we often already have.
Many of the things we work so hard to achieve in life we already have. This idea came to me as I was watching the show Ancient Aliens. In the show they were discussing how the human body could be re-engineered to give people eternal life, and yet I believe we already have eternal life. Another fantasy people have is being able to unlock the full potential of the human brain. The reality is, I am doing something today that I never would have thought was possible earlier in my adult life. I never could have imagined I would have the opportunity to teach people all over the world. I'm here to tell you that I am not special. You have the same amount of potential, if not more, and sometimes it is just a matter of need a new perspective on life. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • The information I consume is just as important as the food I eat.
I look at the information I consume to be just as important as the food I consume. So, what does this idea mean and why is it helpful for me today? Recently, I discovered I am slightly allergic to coconut. The allergy isn't life threatening, but it is still discomforting. Consuming certain information can have a similar effect on me. For example, I try to avoid watching the news. Similar to my allergy to coconut, the news causes me discomfort through fear and anxiety. Now this isn't to say I completely ignore the news all together, just as I will have a bit of coconut here and there. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and i appreciate your feedback!

  • There is no avoiding life's difficulties and I have learned to get through mine faster.
There's no avoiding the difficulties life throws at you, but I have learned to get through mine faster. This to me is the difference between living a life of happiness, or living a life filled with depression, anxiety, and fear. I have learned this lesson first hand from my 8 month old daughter. She experiences unpleasant things on a daily basis because she cannot full take care of herself, and we all experience difficult things throughout our lives until the day we die. The question is how long do you wish to prolong the unpleasant feelings? I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • In any relationship I can fix any of the problems I am having.
In a relationship I can fix any of the problems I am having. It's the very nature of relationships that makes this obvious. Through most of my adult life I thought the other person was at fault for the problems I was having with them. If they would just listen to what I had to say, or be more patient, or be more accepting of me as a person everything would be okay. Now I can see that relationship problem ultimately comes down to whether or not I am being loving and accepting of the other person. I hope this power thought is helpful, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • A life lived free of getting in my own way is one where I can reach my full potential
95% of the limitations I face in my life today are self-imposed. In other words, our worst enemies in life are often ourselves. Everyday I see people that use race, sex, location, etc. as the reason they can't reach their full potential, and this use to frustrate me because I made the same complaints for most of my adult life. We often imprison ourselves in a world where we think we can only do one job, or date a certain kind of person, and to achieve your true potential you must first be willing to correct this simplistic thinking of what you are capable of. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • Incompetence is usually a sign people are doing too much and amazingly the solution often is to do less!
Incompetence is often a sign that people are doing too much, and amazingly the solution usually is to stop doing so much. This is an idea that often runs counter-intuitive to how we think, based on the assumption that I am a lazy person who doesn't want to do anything. For example, what do you automatically assume when your child isn't getting good grades in school? I know I thought I needed to study harder, get a tutor, do the extra things necessary to do better in school. The problem is incompetence usually stems from not doing the right work and doing too many unnecessary things. The other day when I was at the bank I received what I perceived to be incompetent service. However, upon second thought I realized that the bank representatives must have a ton on their mind, and this allowed me to be more understanding and put everything into proper perspective. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • What I give is what I receive.
All that I give is given to myself. This is why I do these inspirational videos. When I share the love & understanding in these videos, I receive it. In other words, everything I give is given back to me. These videos help me practice giving what I want to receive. I was motivated to start creating these inspirational videos because it was something I wish I had growing up to watch each day. I like to watch videos just like this, videos created in a loving spirit. The things I consume are a product of what I can give back. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • When I started believing in death, I lost my life. When I stopped believing in death, I got it back.
In the 3rd grade while I was reading a book on the couch, I remember the moment when I started believing in death. My grandfather had just died, and suddenly realized that I could die. Before the passing of my grandpa I didn't know I could die because I was surrounded by life. I had no evidence first hand of death. Today I'm grateful to not believe in death, at least not in the conventional meaning of the word, and this gives me the ability to fully live my life today. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!

  • What is the most disliked video of all time and what can we learn from it?
What is the #1 most disliked YouTube video of all time? Justin Bieber's Baby ft. Ludacris has over 6 million dislikes! However, that being said it also has over a billion views. What is even more incredible is the Official Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Reveal Trailer has 2 million dislikes with only 20 million total views. That means 10% of the people who watched the video disliked it! So, what can we take away from this? In comparison, the Battlefield 1 Official Reveal Trailer has been well received, and it's because the first person shooter will take place during World War 1. For years fans have been clamoring for a return to the older style of warfare, or at the very least to modern combat. Call of Duty chose to continue on with the futuristic warfare approach, and while I'm sure they will still sell plenty of copies of the game, the developers continue to ignore their fans. I was at the most miserable stages of my life when I ignored those around me, and continued on trying to do things my own way, often in a selfish manner. Today, I am thankful to be in a place where I can be of service to those around me, and I am much happier because of it. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and i appreciate your feedback!

  • Anxiety relief strategies working for me today to eliminate 95% of the anxiety I used to experience.
Anxiety feels terrible, and I want you to be able to find relief from it like I do today. For most of my adult life I didn't even know anxiety was! So, it is important to be able to identify when you are feeling anxious. The number one tip for relief from anxiety is to control your breathing. If I am feeling anxious, the first thing I will do is take long, deep breaths. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!
