**Purpose**

Would you like to shortcut Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience, and Finding Joy by Sheryl Sandberg?" Thank you for starting this book with me. The point of this shortcut is to give you the value of the book that Sheryl Sandberg wrote, describing the skills in the book, and the actions I took out of reading the book. I usually listen to books on Audible, but unfortunately Sheryl Sandberg didn't narrate it on Audible. I hope that this will give you the majority of the value, at least 80% of it in a very short format. Why? Because I know I'm impatient. I skip ahead in videos and if you are watching the video version of this book, you probably have already put this on two-times play to make it play faster so it'll get over faster.

The point of this shortcut is to give you the very best of what I got out of the book, and the context I used it in, and how it impacted my life. I hope that if you love reading what I've shared, it will motivate you to get the actual book or to go forward and take the same actions that you might have taken otherwise.

Why do I listen to or read self-help and business books? What I'm hoping to do is make small adjustments to my thinking that will help me have the happiest life. Small adjustments to my actions that will help me be the most unconditionally loving in every circumstance, and to feel empowered today to be of service to you. That's why I sit and read all these books, so I hope to share the majority of the value I've got out of Option B. I loved reading Option B by Sheryl Sandberg, and I hope you'll have the same experience here with me.

**Summary**

What is a quick summary of Option B by Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant? Sheryl Sandberg is the Chief Operating Officer at Facebook. According to her Wikipedia profile and Forbes, she's worth about $1.6 billions, and she's around 47 years old depending on when you read this. She had a husband named Dave. They both went to Mexico on a trip to celebrate and while they were there, Dave went to the gym and got on the treadmill to exercise.

While on the treadmill, he appeared to have had some kind of massive heart failure. He then fell and hit his head, and died. He bled to death right there in the gym. Meanwhile, Sheryl was on a vacation, and all of the sudden she realized that her husband had died, he was not even 50 years old yet.

Which top 20 cryptocurrency is the most undervalued in June 2017? Will you watch this video because in it I will reveal ten reasons I believe Steem will be worth $10 in 10 months? First, how much Steem and SBD did I buy? Using Bitcoin and Ethereum from my Dash masternode sale on Poloniex, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, and Bittrex, I bought first 10 BTC of Steem with another several thousand invested after that to get my total to 30,846.483 Steem which today is worth $30,877.33. I believe within a year this will be worth over $300,000 because of what I list here.

10. Google organic search traffic. For getting found online, being at the top of Google and YouTube when a user searches is the ideal solution for nearly everyone from local businesses to blogging to art and anything else imaginable. Steemit.com has a perfect formula for building a high ranking website because the financial benefits of making high quality original articles in exchange for money.

9. Lower inflation rate with attract more buying and holding on exchanges. With the previous 100% yearly creation of Steem, many crypto investors were probably avoiding buying and holding any Steem because of the virtually guaranteed loss while others like me sold all my Steem after it kept going down and down without even knowing why it was going down. Many who once were interested and sold may not realize that the inflation rate is so much less now until the price starts going up on the exchanges which might motivate more research. After hours of researching Steem, I did not realize the interest rate was down to 2% or so annually until I calculated it myself even though the change was months ago and I had been actively trading on Bittrex, Poloniex, and Bitfinex most of the time in between including buying in on Steem and probably Steem Backed Dollars or SBD.

8. Powering down prevents impulsive sales and quick exits.

7. Higher previous market value with no bubble wave fully impacting yet.The price was at $4 once why not $10? While most all of the top 100 cryptocurrencies have hit a massive price spike lately where the current market value is anywhere from double to 100+ times what it EVER was in the past, Steem actually had the highest market cap in July 2016. As investors see that the profit has mostly been made in other cryptos, Steem will become very attractive for a big pump and dump which might boost the price up to over $10 in just a matter of days.

6. Attractive as an investment for influencers and new content creators in exchange for influence. Earlier this year I had a self-employed IRA account with Facebook, Google, and Walmart stock accounting for around $10,000 of my retirement savings. What privileges did I get with that? An extra email maybe at most. This same investment on Steem allows anyone currently to have one of the most influential votes on the website.

5. I am going to promote this like crazy as you can see.

4. Word of mouth marketing power to bring friends in to upvote and earn together. The more users sign up for Steemit, the more viral growth we will continue to get because of the HUGE incentive to bring friends and family to help upvote posts. The more users refer friends, the more we will keep pulling in whales, dolphins, and users active every 12 hours that do exceptional work curating the best content.

3. Higher earnings from the recent price growth provides strong motivation for the entire make money online crowd to test blogging on Steemit. When prices were much lower, seeing people make a few cents or maybe $100 at the top for trending posts was unlikely to attract serious commitment from people interested in finding a way to earn money working from home online which is likely an audience of hundreds of millions of people today. An hour later I was in tears in the backseat of our Toyota RAV4 Hybrid crying because I felt not good enough despite contributing and receiving more in one day than I usually did in most weeks or months of my adult life. Even with what looks like a day in heaven of my life, I share what is challenging for me to reach out and be of service to you as well as to seek to continue to learn how to love unconditionally in my life today. I believe a life free from all depression, frustration, anxiety, fear, and anger is possible without using any medication, substances, or outside forces to numb or obscure any of the pain. Here is a summary of my mistakes in order from least costly to most expensive.

Trading USD to BTC on Bitstamp which cost me about $1,000.

Using personal loans to trade bitcoin costing about $3,000 in interest and losses.

Speculating on Bitcoin with client funds costing me about $5,000 in losses of the client's money which I recovered by selling my company website just in time to then spend the money for the client's campaign.

Making a dash budget proposal with no connections costing thousands in proposal fees and thousands more from failed proposals which might have passed if I had taken a few minutes to hang out in slack and make preproposals first.

Buying PIVX and Steem too Fast! In my excitement to get involved with Steem and PIVX, I bought high and then sold low on PIVX losing me some money while mostly missing out on a 40% off sale for Steem. In total, I would have got about $15,000 more worth of Steem with patience.

Selling Altcoins on Poloniex! In December 2016 I had 6 or 8 BTC of altcoins on Poloniex many of which went up 10 to 100 times. If I would have just held them and used other money to buy my Dash masternode, I would have made at least $25,000 more by following my own advice on not trading.

Selling 60 Bitcoin for $1750 each! After selling my Dash masternode, I was afraid to take any risk and unloaded all of my Bitcoin at $1750. It went up as high as $2,500 just days later which led me to miss out on about $50,000 just to have a little bit of faith and hold for a few days.

Selling 30 Bitcoin for $205 each! When the Bitcoin price was tumbling in 2015, I was certain at $170 it would never be that low again. Using every dollar I could get my hands on, I bought 30 Bitcoin mostly from $200 and below. With my personal debt piling up on me, I was in such a hurry to make a gain I sold everything for $205 each. Holding that two years would have produced a gain of about $130,000 meanwhile I would have done fine without the $5,000 or so I initially invested to buy it.

The second biggest mistake I have made was promoting dash, saying I would hold it, and selling instead. I unloaded by Dash on mostly Bitfinex at about $85 per Dash only to see the price nearly double just a couple weeks later. Meanwhile, I promoted Dash everywhere encouraging hundreds of thousands of people around the world to consider investing in Dash through Facebook ads and videos on YouTube. I PUMPED Dash up and then proceeded to DUMP it after I got my profit. While I made a healthy profit of $60,000+ over my initial investment and have money to reinvest because of it, how much in addition to the value of the Dash did I lose in being inconsistent and "scummy" as one YouTuber quoted? How many faithful followers did I lose in being so easy to change my mind?

What is the number one mistake I have made with cryptocurrencies online? By far the #1 mistake has been not following my own advice and thinking I was smarter than everyone else. If I took all the advice I gave in my videos, I probably would still have my Dash masternode, a huge portfolio of altcoins, and enough money to have invested some in the cryptocurrencies I am most excited about today albeit significantly less. If you total all of these mistakes up, the cost is at least $400,000 in cash I do not have today, missed opportunities, and assets worth less than had I been perfect.

Will the Bitcoin price reach $5,000 or $10,000 before it drops and bring the cryptocurrency market capitalization to over $100 billion? Are altcoins starting to sell off into BTC? Would you watch this video to hear my opinions based on the data I see? The Bitcoin price reached a record high of over $2,700 today May 25, 2017! Meanwhile, most of the alternative cryptocurrencies dropped anywhere from 5% to 15% in the last 24 hours which I think is signaling the ceiling for the altcoin bubble. SELL is my recommendation for nearly all the altcoins at this point with holding Bitcoin providing risk of a drop and a potential reward of doubling or tripling itself in value as the altcoins sell. That said, I was totally wrong about selling Bitcoin before at $1700 and about selling my Dash masternode at $87 when the price was $150 yesterday. My own advice allowed me to miss out on earning another $50,000+ in profit WHICH I AM OKAY WITH because there is always more money to be made. Trading crypto can be an addiction because of the constant need to get gratification from making more money and the huge hangover when the high wears off into fear resulting in desperate selling measures!

Learning when to sell and accepting missing out on potential gains in exchange for peace of mind has been a big challenge for me. I am grateful for the $75,000 I did make from buying Dash at $10 to $11 originally. Selling my Dash allowed me to discover another cryptocurrency which appears to not have been fully carried away by the bubble. The cryptocurrenty I share that I am buying in the course is still an amazing buy and I will give you a little more time to buy it while it is low before I start promoting it relentlessly which I think will help to bring the price up 10x within the next 10 months. For cashing out, I think now is the perfect time to put Bitcoin into the altcoin I have invested in before the speculators pump it up!
