We have all had customers walk away from a deal, most of the time this sucks. I don’t know about you, but I used to take this personally! I’d get angry, second-guess myself, think I did something wrong, and I try to figure it out. Was it my price? Was it what I said? Was it that I didn’t know enough about the product? The list goes on! I started to realize that it wasn’t me at all! It was and always had been, the customer. It’s hard to remember that everyone is living their own lives with their own thoughts, and their own feelings. We all need to remember this fact and stop trying to TAKE the blame for everything that doesn’t work out in our favor. Sometimes it is our fault, though I’m willing to bet, it’s far less of the time than we all think! Listen to this episode and you’ll understand what I mean and learn how to reframe how you’re thinking about this! Let’s ALL stop carrying the burden of something that was never there to start!
Enjoy!
