Mark spends 4 months a year in Sri Lanka but this year he has got trapped there due to Coronavirus.

But he is happy as he believes that he is safer in Midigama than back in his home town of Brighton so he is staying put.

He explains to Jon Gaunt how the curfew and lockdown is being applied in this beautiful country and also how the local people are adapting to the threat of Covid-19.

Jon and Mark have a fascinating discussion about how life will and must change after we all come out of lockdown and they both say that they're aiming to live a more simple life with less consumerism.

Today he is discussing the situation in Phuket where the damage to the economy is estimated to be greater than the Tsunami was. Tourism is clearly affected and 90 percent of the population relies on tourism for their jobs.

Jon also hears about how Cambodia have initiated a full lockdown and a 14 day quarantine period for any one arriving in the Country.

Jon talks to Tony, Conan and Angel in the Philippines about the global situation and it's effect on them and the tourist trade.

Jon Gaunt believes the the Queens address to the nation was spot on and a real morale booster.

He also wishes Boris Johnson well and a speedy recovery. He is disgusted that both Her Majesty and Boris are being attacked on social media by trolls who are wishing them both dead.

Jon wants  to know where is the humanity in these vicious cretins?

The Queen was correct to elude to the Blitz spirit and it is true that we need that attitude now. We need to come together for the common good. It is time to be selfless not selfish.

This is a classic Gaunty rant that builds up and up and hopefully echoes what you patriotic Brits also feel.

Two years ago Paul left Milton Keynes with his wife to build a new life in Goa.

Jon Gaunt catches up with him to ask if he will now consider coming home due to the #coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in India.

Paul make it very clear that India is now has home and he has no intention of leaving.

He gives a vivid description of what it is like to live under a full Covid-19 lockdown in India.

He also talks about how the pandemic is now hitting the slums in  New Delhi and Mumbai and fears how high the death toll could be if it gets a hold there.

Jon Gaunt was a amazed at how poorly Boris looked last night in his video. He wishes him well but it is clear to Gaunty that Johnson is not in charge of the fight against Coronavirus at the moment.

Jon is angry that Boris didn't start mass testing weeks ago but now there is not a second to waste.

It is outrageous that our NHS heroes are being put in such danger.

The daily press conferences are a complete joke and there is zero clarity on the rules of the lockdown which is why people are beginning to ignore them.

Jon can not understand why  supermarkets are open and allowed to sell plants but thousands of nurseries and Garden Centres are closed and face going bust. Surely gardening is something we should be encouraging for mental and physical health?

We need action and clarity NOW.

Tony and Dan explain the very strict #lockdown and curfew they are living under due to #covid-19 but say they have no intention of coming back to the UK even if they could.

Jon and the boys also discuss the shambolic way that Boris Johnson has handled the pandemic in the UK.

They are joined by Angel who is Philippine's born and bred who tells us what it is like living under the threat of #Cornavirus in her country.

Dan also talks about how this pandemic will affect both the tourist trade and the poorestceople in the #Philippines.

This is a fascinating podcast and well worth a listen.

Paul Rouan has now been in lockdown on the beautiful Island of Tenerife for 12 days.

He is not alone as the whole of Spain has been locked down and sealed off to confront the dangers of Covid-19.

Spain along with Italy is now the epicentre of the pandemic and the Spanish PM is about to extend the lockdown for a further 15 days.

Paul agrees that this is necessary even if he is going stir crazy. He says most people are respecting the rules and staying home.

He is amazed that the UK is still allowing fights to land in Britain from the most affected areas including Madrid and Milan in Italy.
