Fr. Nathan's special guests are Sami Madden and Minda Cox. This inspiring episode featuring Sami and Minda's birth stories, their work at I-CAN, and their joyful hope will delight and encourage!
Minda was born in India without arms or legs and was adopted as a toddler. Minda's mother is a retired Episcopal priest, and Minda is the youngest of five adopted sisters. Some of Minda's loves include traveling, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying autumn weather.
She is a watercolorist, speaker, and writer; all of these roles are ideal for this happy introvert. What excites Minda? Reflecting on scripture, the situations of the world around her, encouraging others with her paintings, teaching watercolor classes, advocating for accessibility for the disabled, and knitting together words to create something that may open the love of God to others.
