Kev and Nixxi wound the clock back to 2000 for a full night of turn-of-the-millennium tunes, picking through the records they still loved and the ones that had aged rather less gracefully. The music drove the show, but the usual arguments, distractions and listener interaction made sure it never stayed a straightforward nostalgia programme for very long.

Nixxi swept SmeggHeads with five correct answers and won the week.

Nixxi was away, so Rob Davies took her seat for a full Kev and Rob edition. Kev and Rob handled the music and listener messages together, with Rob’s usual willingness to join in ensuring the programme did not become any calmer simply because one of the regular presenters was missing.

With Nixxi away, Rob Davies faced Kev in SmeggHeads and Simon stepped in as quizmaster when Alex was unavailable. Rob produced a five-out-of-five performance and beat Kev.

Kev and Nixxi became Sandwich Artists for the night and attempted their own versions of Subway-style creations. Choosing fillings should have been straightforward, but the pair managed to turn sandwich construction into a full-scale production, with listeners joining the food debate as the results became steadily less sensible.

Alex ran SmeggHeads and Nixxi came out on top, collecting enough answers including Blue, Mercury and Hollywood to beat Kev.

Nixxi brought Jordan in as her helper while Shawn Levy acted as quizmaster from Florida. Nixxi and Jordan won SmeggHeads 2-1.

The final question came down to the name of Fred and Wilma Flintstone's daughter. Nixxi answered Pebbles, Kev missed it, and Nixxi happily took another SmeggHeads win.

Hunger pains led to the highly questionable suggestion of taking painkillers, which was enough to set Kev and Nixxi off on another health discussion they were in no position to lead. Listeners joined in while the pair moved between bad ideas, music and SmeggHeads.

SmeggHeads was played two-on-two, with Holly helping Nixxi. Kev finished on four correct answers against three for Nixxi's side, so Kev won the week.

Team Nixxi dominated SmeggHeads 4-1, moving the running contest to Nixxi 9, Kev 7.

Nixxi won SmeggHeads 4-2, taking the running score from 7-7 to an 8-7 lead.

Simon ran SmeggHeads and the regular questions finished level, so it went to a pocket-change tie-break. Nixxi guessed £3.65 against Kev's £4.90; with the actual amount £2.40, Nixxi was closer and won.
